The opposite of healthy is 'unhealthy'. Are you suggesting we are in an 'unhealthy' position as a club? Just curious
If that was a scenario that actually happened then yes, I'd say we would be in an unhealthy position. The only people who could argue we would be in a healthy position would be the accountants.
Crazy! You're moaning about situation the now, despite the fact that we're 3 points of the top and could win the league, we're in the 5th round of the FA cup, we're in the KO stages of the champions league and we're likely to qualify for it again next season. We've just won two trophies in two seasons and we've signed Ozil, Sanchez and Cech in the last 3 seasons too. Yet you'd throw it all away and be happier if we dropped out of the top 4 and missed out on the Champions league with no guarantee of when or even if we'd be able to get back to where we were, let alone improve. Just take the name of the manager out of the equation for a moment, are you really saying that you would be happier to see our club in this position ?
We're currently on a 3. I'd roll the dice in the hope to get a 5 or 6. Yes we could roll a 1 as some of you scaredy-cats are suggesting, but the dice is heavily weighted in favour of throwing something high. Who wants to rolls threes their whole lives? Live a little.
The roll of a dice ? that sums it up really. You'd be willing to risk throwing away what we have on a chance based on nothing but hope.
This is the craziest post ever - you want the club to show more ambition than we currently are (3 points off top spot, been top consistently, won 2 trophies last two seasons) by... Dropping out of the CL, dropping down the league, lose a some of our 1st teamers (potentially some of our best players), and become less able to compete financially. Great ambition!
But this is where you keep going wrong. I'm not scared of change, I've spoken about replacing Wenger on numerous occasions. The point is that if we are going to replace him then it needs to be with somebody who can do a better job, rather than simply taking a punt on a whim. It makes no sense and could likely end up with us in a worse position.
Arsenal Leeds Man Utd West Ham Liverpool Spurs These are just some examples of teams that have suffered a period of uncertainty after a change of a long term management strategy.
What makes me laugh, is that those who support Wenger are often accused of having blind faith, and yet one of his biggest critics on here is advocating that we should change him based on the roll of a dice.
Exactly that. Even better if it was a coin toss. Or maybe a roulette wheel? Either way you're guaranteed to come off quids in as the evidence proves it.
You keep banging on about this low expectations rubbish. Frankly it's a lot of bollocks mate. No Arsenal fan I know doesn't want Arsenal to win the league.
You want to win the league obviously. But that's irrelevant. Because you're also happy with the way things are.
Cheers goner cymraeg! Short term memory must be going (look at that castle over there... Bop bop...What's a castle?....)
