Jeff Schlupp is still weeks away from a return while Matty James has had an injury set back which will push his return back. There are no other injury concerns. Its unlikely any new signings will be made in time for this game as they would need to be completed before mid day on Monday to play. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Kante Drinkwater Albrighton Vardy Okazaki Subs- Schwarzer, Wasilewski, Amartey, King, Inler, Gray, Ulloa
Yeah, my thoughts too. Get at um like we did v Stoke. Can´t argue to much with that starting XI proud. One thing I will say is the `TEAM v thread´ hasn´t really been that hard to do this season as the team is picking it´s self most weeks. I´d like to see more of Gray, but I think I may have to wait til next season for that as it´ll be hard for him to get in the starting XI as things are. Amartey should get a run out v Liverpool, interesting to see how much of an impact he will make. "UTF"
Yes to both but I wouldn't through him straight into the deep end yet as we have plenty of cover at DM that we can have on the bench instead. Let him learn the way we play as there is no need to rush him into the team atm.
Amartey can play centre half. His natural position is centre half but Copenhagen have converted him into a midfielder
Seems like it is the other way around - according to http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/daniel-amartey/leistungsdaten/spieler/214056 he only really started playing as a CB this season - he was a DM the entirety of last season.
Just posted the following on our match thread..... Interesting tactically, we press and play a high line, Leicester like teams to push up and will go direct and use Vardys pace. So do we play deeper or continue with the high line?
Our match thread if you want to pop across, firndly banter always available. http://www.not606.com/threads/leicester-v-liverpool.322145/#post-8865937
When teams have played deep to counter Vardy running behind that plays right into Riyad Mahrez's hands as he can run at you Thats why the 2 have been so successful, if you try to counter one of them you play into the other's hands
Ranieri has said that Daniel Amartey isn't ready yet but will be for the weekend, Jeff Schlupp will be back at the end of the month and Matty James will be back training within the next 2 weeks. Also said both Ritchie De Laet and Shinji Okazaki are both ok
I think we have to get at you and take our chances, no point worrying about your players. Outside of this match I hope you kick on and win it but long way to go yet.
I've always liked Liverpool & always want them to win... ... unless they play Leicester that is. Be a good game l think, but will have to listen to it on the Radio as it's not on TV in Germany. Never mind.
Try myp2p.ec without the www. part - just tried it and it works for me. You don't need to sign up to anything - just click on one of the links when the match starts.
