Just in from work and seen the game stats which suggest we bossed them - bit surprised by some of the posts on here.
Typical goal poaching by Ighalo pouncing on the mistake by Wilson. Nordin A came close too. Didn't look like a foul at the end as they claimed.
Back in my Derbyshire hotel room after a superb Fay of fine ale, excellent company and quite the most sublime curry I've had in maybe 20years. As to the match I would say that there was a lot of huff and puff from forest but it was generally well contained. Three decent penalty shouts for Watford turned down, particularly the ippon on Prödl. Ighalo's class told in the end. How many times have we been mugged off like that in the past? Too many to mention so this win feels especially good.
Overall a good day out: Great goal by Ighalo with a great cross from Nyom... Thank goodness one of his many crosses came to something Woeful finishing from Forest Loads of possession and midfield play in the first half. Some good passing football Goalie looks a decent enough number 2 Ararbat looks strong and skilful and as the manager says he just needs to learn the Watford way. No real negative performances and good to see squad players put a performance in However We need to convert possession to scoring opps. When we shoot with time we need to be accurate We must not lose concentration... in the prem we would have conceded as a result just on HT I spent the match with a fellow 76 who first started supporting us in 1950... so we had a good chat to keep us warm and then walked back to the station ( his wife 71 is a UK Senior triathlon champion) ( Mlle Yorkie had preferred to go Wedding dress shopping with her sister .... I went down on the train in the end.) No banana skins then.... we should have won and we did the business. Not that boring though for me as i was very absorbed in our possession play etc... Interesting tactical game until we brought Ighalo on..... when we then dropped back with two strikers forward and they really came at us.

Sorry I don't know now. I picked it up from a Twitter feed and there were several thousand after that was shown.
Brilliant day for jerzeypie yesterday to celebrate his 20th birthday that was on Friday. He watched our match, then in the evening saw Nottingham Panthers v Cardiff Devils at the National Ice Centre and the Devils won 3-0, being the first team to stop the Panthers scoring at home this season. MoM was the Devils netminder as the Panthers had 32 shots!
Great day out - proper football away day. Great to catch up with H and Norway and to meet jerzeypie - a chip off the old block Barry. So looking forward to the draw.
Great to see you w-y, and of course Norway and Jerzypie. Shame about the game, a very dull affair. Midfield looked like a championship side, thank goodness for Iggy and some good defensive displays. Still don't see the point of Anya, except to keep up our homegrown numbers! He's a marmite player for sure! Amrabat looked very good, considering this was his first game, he will get used to the English way quickly i think, he was already not appealing so much by the second half! Very good to see we have a good number 2 keeper, Gomes will have to work hard to keep his place! All in all, fairly positive, though worrying that we didn't create much and got lucky at the end by a defensive mistake. Bring on Leeds, i'm enjoying having a cup run for a change!
I think that QSF needs to have a word with his fellow Spaniard, Aitor Karanka (Boro boss), to find out what Evans is like on the touchline before we play Leeds.
Having played Rotherham regularly only recently I am sure that we know all about Evans antics on the touchline. Didn't do him much good......
QSF has never come up against him - that's what I was referring to. Plus Karanka could use a few choice words in Spanish that would give him the best idea.
