Nonsense. Darmian can't get a place ahead of a failed winger. Shaw was ****e except maybe 1 game. Smalling is just Skrtel (defending by shirt pulling). Carrick is finished. Mata was great but ruined by 2 years of being played wrong.
Given the strength of your squad and the weakness of ours, how have we managed to beat you 5 (five) times in a row? Is it down to poor management. I know you rated Rodgers very highly and consider Klopp to be overrated. The under fire LVG wishes he could play Liverpool every week!
I can't be arsed with all these pick-your-own games, so I'll just take De Gea and put him in our team. He's the only reason Utd have half of the points they've got this season so he'd have given us an extra 10 and we'd be 3rd.
Aye In addition to their GK, I would also take Martial because I think our striker is rank. Our defenders are not that hot too and Smalling has been one of their better players this season. I might give a place to Rooney. Coutinho and Henderson should get a place. For the rest it is touch and go. They did beat us under 2 different managers so must indicate something about the strength of our squad
Bit late to this thread... Yes, Benteke and Ibe were poor.. But, given the side we put out, I was quite impressed by the performance. This make shift team put in a better effort against a near full strength West Ham team than our so called first team did.. twice! The young Lad, Brannagan, already looks a better prospect than Rossiter, looked composed on the ball, good passer, looks decent with both feet and delivers a mean set peice too.. I'd like to see him get a run out with the first team players.. Tex grew into the game, his lack of pace means he's most likely wasted on the wings, looked better when playing just behind Benteke.. Same team against West Ham away will most likely get beat but mix in a couple more 1st teamers, maybe Sturridge's return game and who knows?
