New striker coming in .................... QPR have had a £350,000 bid for Burton Albion forward Nasser El Khayati accepted by the League One leaders. The Dutchman, 26, played under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at Burton and has scored 11 goals in 44 appearances since joining the Brewers a year ago. Hasselbaink, who has won just one of his 11 matches since taking over as Rangers manager, is keen to bring him to Loftus Road. El Khayati was on PSV Eindhoven’s books as a youngster and played for FC Den Bosch and NAC Breda before a spell playing in Cyprus. Eight of El Khayati’s goals for Burton have come this season. He was left out of their squad for Saturday’s game against Rochdale. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/813977440?-294:802:3
I thought that it was Dr Patel from the orthopedic department who was responsible for Redknapp's appointment.
Ted's not been here for a while, he has probably violated his day release conditions and been re hospitalised.
Today's gossip pages have WBA in for Phillips for £8M, that would be a great deal. He's got a lot of ability but not the work ethic we need. Mind you the gossip column also has Newcastle weighing up a £35M bid for Berahino, if this is true I will shut myself away from the world for it has surely gone mad.
