I think Apkom will have a great career, though sadly, it's more likely to be at Leyton Orient than Arsenal. Hayden's a better player, it took him far too long to get his chance in the league, but he finally got it and he's taken it. If we go up, Bruce has already said we'll be bidding for him on a permanent, I'm not sue I'd take Akpom on a free.
Spot on....its asinine, stupid, has cost us a comfortable position in the Prem, along with millions of pounds, and like pornography has no redeeming social (tactical) value. The fact that a well-beaten outclassed Bury side should suddenly look like world-beaters must SURELY put an end to this nonsense!! For Chrissake man it doesnt work....GIVE IT UP!!
**** me I'm still cold. Good game. Next round. Please be Shrewsbury. Or Posh. Akpom has potential. Still a bit immature but on form is a good striker. Personally I'd like to keep him. He doesn't look good enough for Arsenal at the mo. Hayden is a very tidy player. Top of the league and in the fifth round. Still not good enough for some. Baffling.
It was old school, I even watched the last five minutes having a cig, I can't remember the last time I did that, it gave me a warm nostalgic glow.
Tens, or probably actually hundreds of millions. And if we don't go back up this season, then likely lost to us for ever when we had it all in our hands. These posts explain why I still want Bruce out.
Bagels are an embarrassment to the bread world. I don't even know how it can be classified as bread. It's not bread.
Hang on. Today was the fourth round. Tomorrow we're in the draw for the fifth. Bugger off with bagel distractions! Gaylord!
I managed to get caught in that hailstorm on the way in and then another one started the minute the final whistle went. Half an hour into the first half the conditions on the pitch were appalling, fortunately they were a little better second half. I'm hoping there was some lightening on the way back as well, if there wasn't, I got camera'd about eight times.
Great finish by Chuba for the last goal, also great save by the Jak early doors to keep us from being on the back foot. Just hope we don't get Arsenal again tomorrow
It wasn't Bruce inviting pressure, it was the players on the pitch, they thought the game was won and stopped trying. The lazy pass from Elmo to give them the ball for their goal summed it up perfectly.
