Do we really care about their lives off the field. Stan met them both long enough to determine who is the bigger twat? Doubt it somehow.

I am not really fussed to be honest.
There are cool people and twats in all walks of life, why should football be any different.
I just cannot stand Rio Ferdinand, every time he talks I want to lob a brick at his face.

Rio helped us out with a charity event, Terry is just a cocky twat, very hard to warm to. As I've said before on here I used to work in sports management so dealing with people who play sport for a living was kind of part of the job! I never met Vidic though so can't comment on his level of twatness.

In what capacity did you meet JT? Was it a charity event too?

Not sure how that's relevant but if it's important to you....couple of work matters in the office, a few work functions and a junior football tournament. He did give us a signed shirt once, which was nice of him, I'll give him credit for that.

We gave it to the cleaner, she used it to clean the bogs.

Ha, fair enough. Don't suppose he really cares what a lying no-mark office boy thinks though eh? <ok>

He's only saying what his personal experience of him is. I think Terry comes across as a right pr1ck and I dont base that on any of the well-publicised stuff but moreso on what he says and some of his opinions. On the other hand I think Lampard and Drogba actually come across as 2 pretty decent blokes... once again going by things they've said and their opinions and actions on things.

    I would agree tbh.
As far as United players go, I cannot stand Rio, but Scholes and Neville seem like pretty sound guys.

It's quite funny bcos I used to watch Drogba on the pitch and had a completely different impression of him. But when I listened to him he came across as a well-grounded nice guy with a caring nature.

In a similar way (not necessarily the same) I think Neville must've been like that to rival fans.

No not really, I always thought he was the best RB around for about 10 years. He was so passionate about United and England, and gave it 100% for both. I also like his punditry and he gave good, honest views. It was Rio that used to rile me. Don't know why, he just did. Keane was just a dirty **** to me.

The only anomaly to this is Stevie Me. Many players will come across as right tw@ts on the pitch but actually be nice blokes off it. Whereas Stevie Me is the one exception to the rule. Comes across as a pretty decent bloke on the pitch but when you listen to some of his views and what he gets up to, it's clear he's a right bellend

I'm sure he doesn't. It would surprise me if he's currently on a message board where footballers discuss ordinary non football folk slagging me off.
