How do you see your club doing this season? You have lost quite a few of your top players and don't seem to have replaced them, I hope that you get someone soon because I really enjoyed the games against you it was entertaining to say the least if not always the best of results. Anyway all the best for the coming season and look forward to beating you at the King Power stadium soon and heres to a great night out in Cardiff:emoticon-0150-hands.

On paper is one thing, on the pitch quite another. Don't get blinded by the pound signs against your acquisitions as opposed to ours.

Malky has got players in who WANT to play here, and not the loanees we ultimately failed with last year. As in most things, time will tell, but I wouldn't get counting those chickens just yet despite the cash Sven has been (and apparently still is) thrownig about.

BTW, I hope you finally get Maynard from the Wurzels if only to shut you lot up crowing on their board. I thought Forest were bad enough with their "FACT" and "DONE DEALS", but you lot are becoming a bit boring over there.

Lots of chopping and changing in the friendlies, so it will be interesting to see the formation and style MM setles on.

Midfield still seems a little light, but we look to have good options up front and at the back. Good competition up front with apparently different atributes. Is Kiss the midfield enforcer?

Hopefully we'll see a couple more out as well as in over the next couple of weeks. Someone else said Gypes , Taiwo and Naylor need to move on. Definitely the last two.

    And Parkin.

I didn't mention him earlier as he arrives a bit slower and later than the others.<steam>

Yeah, good shout Blue. I'd have considered holding on to Parkin, but with Miller and Rudy arriving probably no need now. So, 4 to go!

I may need to look at the squad list. There may be a few more lurking out there.

Thanks Rhondda. Can't imagine us carrying 30 odd players in the squad, though a few of the 1st year pros should probably be though of as the under 21s. 4 out, 6 in should just about do it!

On paper, we should have walked this division last year. Hence, "on paper" means absolutely nothing.

We have a manager noted for creating a good team spirit and work ethic, which is what we were lacking at times last season.

The players we have brough it in, IMO, are better than the players we had last season, if only because each one has a proven work ethic and the skills to turn said quality into positive performances and results.

The style of football we have been playing so far in the pre season is very encouraging, if the team can gel quickly enough, I predict we should be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.

Exactly...the players we had did not do the job, I am sure you would have liked us to keep them and miss out again this season..no thank you.

We are not hoping to get promotion we are expecting it.

Naturally other teams seeing we can get rid of those players and recruit another 9 will wish their clubs could do the same but we have the investors here so we can do what we like.

jck200, after viewing the Celtic and B'mouth friendlies i can see our defence doing well next year, as for the rest i will wait with baited breath, but here's hoping for a successful season.

On paper we shouldve walked to the prem last season... but paper doesnt mean a thing... there may be a few lesser known players at the club, but that only means less pressure on us.
All the big wages and fees your paying, you should give the Hammers a run for the title this year, because youve both got the best squads....ON PAPER ;-)........
