Off Topic Next Mafia game?

Been a couple months since the last game and next international break isn't 'til late March, just wondering if anyone was planning on running a game before then? Had a look around but not seen any mention here or on the Toon board and I'm jonesing for my fix.

I think @Less Hope Than Neville mentioned about a "part 2" of the one he ran before xmas, but not sure if it was serious or jokey.

 

I have not decided what to do on this basically.

Obviously the league cup final week is out

 

If he's doing it then he needs to crack on. End of march is only a couple of months away and he needs to write the rules yet, never mind giving us time to read them!

right guys... early topics for a mafia game:


1. I am thinking on a concept based on the old style books that let you choose your path through and had alternative endings. The concept is to have a choice of paths that people vote on during the day. the mafia element will know which path is best for them and so have to influence this vote to help themselves. This is an extra vote during day on top of the lynch. there will be a choice of 3 paths to take each leading to the next days scenario that is revealed.

2. I am thinking that we should really explore the way of the dead more. That was the last game i played of course so that's the only one i know but having a dead board where an objective was there for the dead to win the game. I'm not sure who to do it as i was not really dead in that game so need to figure out what this could be and how the dead can actually interact with the game. I am thinking of a death touch where all dead vote to kill one person off in the game each night

3. I am going to make the mafia only be able to kill off one or two people and make them immediate day kills just to spice the voting up.

Otherwise I've not got a story line or characters or anything

 

Good ideas

Especially giving the town a choice to make other than a lynch which tends to be random or feud based anyway

 

Are we waiting until March when it's next international break?
