It's all going according to plan- a Utd win tonight will keep Louis in work for a bit longer.

Every Derby pass is to a Man Utd player or no one

Good job someone let Derby know the game plan. Wouldn't have wanted them to miss the memo and go out there and beat them!

I thought Man U were supposed to be able to defend? Derby player runs down the middle onto the ball with barely any resistance.

I'm 85% sure the Derby pass to set up their goal was a mishit clearance

Fellaini has just run the ball out of play twice now...

Big lumbering CM and he keeps running down left wing, not sure tactically that's the best place for him to be going...

A goal scoring midfielder. We could do with one of those.

Wouldn't fit into our team... he moves ahead of the forward, that's not allowed!

Wow the BBC live text page was still going on about Rooney, but looks like they've just now noticed the equaliser

Derby rather than keeping possession in middle of the park apparently just "faffed around with it" according to bbcsalford

Derby faffed about in the middle of the park after Tom Ince (23) won a free-kick, going back to keeper Scott Carson (17) who hoofed long to striker Chris Martin (9). United defender Daley Blind (17) made a hash of a clearance, allowing Martin to pick out the run of George Thorne (34). Easy

However United's goal was a "patient move"

Fan of the tactics board? Then go knock out yourself out with this. Our graphic shows how Rooney (10) finished a patient United move which began with a throw-in from Guillermo Varela (30) on the opposite side of the pitch.

BBCSalford trying to justify the Rooney goal... ignore the fact his right foot is offside, the one he scores with <whistle>

Wayne Rooney's right hip downwards is offside. Left knee is on.

#bbcsalford called it "superb defending by Warnock", why no mention that he was behind Rooney so it only came to him because Rooney failed to get on it anyway?

Advanced tactics- How to include receiving the ball in an offside position and get away with it.
    Clever stuff.
