Dani Pacheo has said he wants to leave Anfield and sees Norwich City as an Option for him as he is not getting any games at Liverpool. (EDP & Evening News websites) Even though Lambert has signed 7 players, what do you think of our chances of getting him, and possibly a goalkeeper?

I wasn't implying we need a another gk on my thread Thai. Was hoping for more reaction at the fact young steer has gone out to another club.

As for young family, if we got him I would be over the moon, I think his statement has a come and get me plea written all over it, though I dont think we shall see him back here anytime soon...

Apparently he said this is in an interview with a Spanish newspaper, i.e. not the Pink'un and he also said he was 'fond' of Norwich, so if he is actually saying this stuff without being prompted, I think he might really want to come back! Of course, he will eventually get homesick and want to leave as all people from hot countries who play in England do, but would be nice to have him back, although we have 6 strikers already, maybe have to play him CAM instead.

I believe Dani had his first taste of a together, close knit team last season where he was getting regular football and he liked it. I can't blame the lad at all for wanting it more

He's been so complimentary and respectful of the chance he was given here. We'll have to see what happens but I imagine Liverpool will want to hoard him. He has the potential to become an absolute barnstormer.

I genuinely hope the lad gets a good chance somewhere. Because he deserves it.

Couldnt agree more, beefy, did you see the way he thanked Coventry for wanting him even though Liverpool wouldn't let him go?

Lovely lad, deserves a terrific career! Let's hear it for the nice guys <ok>

i follow him on twitter and his passion for norwich shines through - he is always tweeting about the club and us fans and has had conversations with other city fans on twitter too. he seems to be such an amiable and happy young man, and he really did love it here. i hope he comes back but as i say, i don't see lambert wanting him now.

He is too lightweight in my opinion.

i tend to agree jk. i really think very highly of him but if we did sign him he'd be a luxury, a luxury we don't really need.

I would love him back but do not think lambert needs him as we have the area covered ,we could always do with another keeper LOL

8 strikers is more than enough I think. Also pilkington appears to be a similar player to pacheco as he can play as a winger, possibly as an attacking midfielder and as a striker.

Also, pilkington is probably on a smaller wage packet than pacheco, so I see pacheco as an unnecessary luxury.

The fact that last season in the championship he could not break into our first team as a regular starter would imply that we don't need him. Especially considering that we have strengthend in that area already.

What Pacheco needs is a premier league club who can sign him then send him out on loan in the championship for a full season to get him some game time. He is one for the future I think, but not premier league standard yet. I'm afraid that just now, that is a luxury we cannot afford.

He needs first team football. I'd guess he'd be happier at somewhere like Doncaster/Burnley getting starts each week than sitting on our bench.

I think he may be too flamboyant for Lambert?
