To be fair amte he's a hell of a player, just hasn't applied himself unfortunately. All other signings since then have just seemed very "meh" to me. The only one I appear to have been wrong about is Defoe - thought he was over the hill but glad he's proving me very wrong!
Yeah I know mate! I would love Johnson to be pushing himself every week. Defoes proving me wrong too. And long may it continue!
I think Defoe has had a bad rep over the years, the guy truly loves football and I think going to Canada shocked himself at just how much he missed the main action of the premiership. If we can keep our legs closed at the back and give this guy the chances I'm sure we could yet again Spring the great escape!!
