Actually, tip of the hat to Lallana if he takes part. He has pissed me off badly, however coming back to play in this even as the pantomime villain carries a bit of kudos.
Yeah was going to say that myself, if he does then fair play to him, and echo above thoughts that I hope we don't concentrate on giving him abuse when the day is about Kelvin. By all means batter him in March for the league game (I've made my feelings clear on him many times before), but come the testimonial, if he takes part then credit to him for that and maybe, just maybe we might even be able to thank him for those promotion years? (Made easier if we win the league game ) Right, I need a shower
Not to mention counterproductive. Both Lovren and Lallana played very well, and the Liverpool fans picked up the songs and turned them to their own ends, as in: "Adam Lallana, he's winning 4-1 (5-1, and then 6-1)". Embarrassing beyond belief, and SKD's testimonial would be a good time for that sort of nonsense to stop. Obviously I've no objection to the odd jeer or scornful laugh if TB does something stupid, but orchestrated hatred has no place at any football match.
He has? Where did you see/hear this? Surely Nige will be the manager? Their season finishes a week before ours, though I'm trying o find out what scheduled play off dates are...
Wonderful idea and I'll definitely make sure I'm in attendance. Would like to see Papa Waigo. Think he would be entertaining in a testimonial.
Oh okay cheers Think we all have our fingers crossed on that one.. To follow up my previous post about the play offs it seems they haven't been announced yet
The best thing about this - aside from showing our appreciation for SKD - will be seeing Adkins and Koeman sharing the St. Mary's technical areas.
I'm a bit disappointed about this, though. I was secretly hoping it'd be the Leeds United side of the 2011/12 season against Kelvin Davis, on his own. Again.
