Conspiracy theories abound about the sudden deletion of his twitter account and his Spanish tweets regarding "newcastle will never be a top6 club as sellers of best players".

Well it's real simple Enrique. Tell us the fans exactly what your motives are for NOT signing a new contract. Tell us what YOU want from Newcastle. Come out and tell the truth. We might not like it, but we'd love to hear it.
Selling Nolan and Carroll were entirely understandable in my view. Nolan went for a 5 year contract and EXTRA £800,000 a year. We'd have been mad to match it. Carroll was the subject of a very last minute bid that took everyone's breath away. Hey, we heard all the " I never wanted to leave the club", but imagine the inactivity in the transfer window if we never got the £35m. I'd have loved the lad to stay but we'd have to put up with Shola/Best/lover/Smithy plodding on .
Unless Enrique can see things we cannot, the influx of clearly quality players added to perhaps another pacy striker puts the team in a better position than last season by far.

We pay the guy £4 million a year to wear the shirt and do a job. Do it. As for moaning and bitching to thousands on Twitter; this has quite rightly been stopped ( probably by the club) . Tweeting like this is so disrespectful.

 

Also, his comments will worry the new boys. Totally wreckless.

 

Sick of listening to Jose now too, seriously begining to do my tits in. Just get him sold asap and move on. If he leaves for Liverpool I will have no respect for him whatsoever. In fact he will become a hate figure in my eyes!!!

 

I don't know what all the drama is about. He is frustrated because our ambitions do not match his. He likes the club but can't sit around and wait for us to progress to a level to challenge for european places, hampering any national team ambitions. He wants the club to spend and progress quickly to keep pace with other teams challenging. The club have a much different business plan focused on reducing debt (probably to prepare the club for sale). Spending wildy will not aid this. Buying cheap and selling high will. The club or pardew won't admit this policy because you'd seriously hinder your ability to sign players. Pardew will believe he can function under this policy and slowly progress because a certain calibre of player will be needed to make the profits. Jose is frustrated because they lied about the 35m. So are some fans. Everyone has their own opinion on this but my own is they misled people to believe 35m would be spent on the team. They did so because they were firefighting a storm about selling their number 9 without a replacement. Pardew had been made to look foolish as he had said he wouldn't be sold under any circumstances and questions were being asked. I never thought we would be spending all the 35m. It would be in complete contrast to our transfer policy for the last few years. Many fans and players will not like this policy and it'll be a rocky ride. It is what it is and we just have to get on with it. He isn't going to be bankrolling us.

 

Thing is tho, Enrique thinks he's bigger than club and he's not. I wish he we just shut the **** up and sign or hand in transfer request.
He's a good player but he's not indispensable. I dont know what Jose expects us to be doing with regards to ambition, It's our first season back in the top flight and were not ambitious enough for him? Should we be trying to win Champions league ect. Wise up Jose.

 

That's all I'm worried about, it's hardly gonna have a positive effect on the side but at the same time he's right in what he's saying. Thing is though, he can leave this club behind and move on while picking up a cracking pay packet. We can't leave our club behind, these comments are humiliating the fans and ridiculing the club even further. Totally unnecessary.

 

Agree. i've been brought up to support the shirt. he must think fans don't get demoralised by his rants.

 

you cant ask a guy to spill the facts and at the same time commend the club for making him stfu .....

 

All I'm saying is we're hearing nothing from his side or his agent, other than this rant on Twitter.
Normally, you would have his agent leak something like "Enrique would love a four year deal " or "Enrique would love CL football next season".

hopefully they'll take it with a pinch of salt as enrique is clearly frustrated he hasn't got his move yet. I hope the new boys all want to be part of a team on the up which is what they were sold on i'm sure. If Jose leaves, we buy a decent replacement there will be no harm done. Ashley and Pardew have to replace him in the right way, 6m or so should do, leave them with 4-6 mill profit. We'll be happy. New boys won't give a ****. and hopefully jose will move to Liverpool who will then finish below us, meaning he knows he is a cock.

As **** as this is, there's no point in selling him. These are stupid comments but Barton isn't exactly a twitter saint either.

Enrique is a good player, and just because he said this, doesn't mean the other players have to agree, and i'd expect Barton, Colo and some of the others will tell him to should his Spanish face up.

What really annoys me is Enrique said "i agree with Barton" before saying all of this. Barton never said we'll never be a top 6 club, he just stated a fact that him and Jose will go next which looks extremely possible.

 

said it weeks ago i don't know why we're pissing about with him to be honest he's made it clear he wants out transfer list him and get a replacement in,hate saying it as he's a class player and one of our best but enough is enough.I wonder if he was offered 70-80k a week would his attitude towards the board be different or would he still say they have no ambition.It'll be interesting to see where he goes as he's stated he'll only leave for champions league football if he goes anywhere else it'll prove it's for the cash.

 

Btw his twitter account was probably deleted because Pardew has been told by one of the other players what Jose has been saying.

Jose will most likely be bollocked and banned from twitter permanently.
