If Charlie proves to be our no1 forward, I can certainly see Pelle moving on in the summer especially if JRod comes back and finds some form
At his age, I would certainly accept £5m at the end of the season for him and wish him well

 

That would be too low a fee in my opinion. After all, regardless of his age, he's an italian international, furthermore part of their starting lineup and just might welcome the transfer window on the back of some good performances in the Euros. He also enjoyed two good seasons in the EPL and can be considered a proven performer on that level, and given the state of the market these days (Lewis Grabban anyone?), I would expect at the very least a return of what we invested for Pelle two years ago.

We know how to sell for a huge fee those player we don't really want to sell (Morgan, Shaw ecc..), but those that we really wish to get rid of, we can't even give away for free (Osvaldo, Gaston) Pelle can be something in between, we don't necessarily wish to sell him, but would be open to offers.

 

But age and contract status mean we won't get all that much for him. I'd say 5 at the end of the season would be a fantastic return for us tbh. Although I'd love him to stay

 

They've got an Italian manager... that's press logic.

 

Like last season with Clyne, Toby and Morgan. I'm fairly sure Vic, Pelle & Manè are going in the summer.

Would be delighted to be proven wrong, but it seems the way.

 

Last season's players were a bigger loss if you're accurate.

Mane will be the toughest to replace of this years bunch.

 

Before anyone rushes to sell him, don't forget that Mane is contracted to July 2018. Which means tough toenails if he bleats about wanting to leave this summer and the club wants to keep him. Someone is going to have to come up with stupid money to buy him. Of course if £50M is their thing, then fine.

 

Pelle will leave in the summer if the right bid comes in. Saints are worried about his age/ knee problems.

 

Makes sense....he's not in our long term plans, so not worth risking another contract or letting him go on a free. He has done well for us and we have done well by him....getting him into the Italy squad.

 

The latest rumours say that Harry Reed is joining Rangers on loan.

Would have liked to see him go to a somewhat better league. I would hope he would dominate at that level.

But Rangers are huge so he will get to play in front of some big crowds and feel the pressure. And being one of the best players on the biggest and best club Ina division that is also in a title hunt is probably good experience.

 

That's a perfect fit. A tough tackling ginger. The Scottish will love him

IMHO Mane hasn't lived up to standard, lots of promise but little in the way of goals or assists. The media are still boosting his status but from where I sit, I don't see either a "Big Boy" paying out stupid money for him or us finding another pacey support forward who can score 5 goals. A focuses on form Mane is impressive but we haven't seen much of it so far this season
