Watched Inglorious Basterds again last night. Still for me Tarantino's best. Also, to go back to a point red top reader made, a movie in which Brad Pitt does act. Because that was a bit of a ridiculous statement.
Yes agreed that was another film he was good in but if we were to put his films on a scales, crap would be on the ****ing floor....
He's been great in many films too though. Se7en, Twelve Monkeys, Fight Club, Snatch, Ocean's Eleven (not a fan but he's good in it), Benjamin Button (same, not a fan but he's good), Moneyball, Burn After Reading, Inglorious Basterds, The Tree of Life, 12 Years a Slave, Fury... all for me are good performances. If you put most great actors or actresses filmographies on scales, there would be a lot of crap. I don't massively like him, but the man's a good actor.
I was probably being a bit harsh on him, wasn't convinced in se7en but in button he was good. Mind you Mr freeman was excellent in se7en...
I understand where you are coming from with die hard, But I love the story of unbreakable, and when he kills The serial killer... For me the real star of the first Die hard was Alan Rickman....
Not sure about him being in that film but he stared with Geena Davis in the long kiss goodnight and he was Great in that....
Will google it... yep according to wiki it was his break out role, I thought it was as I think I saw it at the cinema at the time, 25 years ago unbelievable!
Kalifornia ? Pitt was great in that Babel ? Another great film. And DiCaprio is in my top 5 current male actors
Day 28, film 28, "Faster" starring "the Rock" Haven't seen this one, it's from 2010 Mrs mops got my iPad so no afdah tonight.. Bitch
Watched The Big Short at the pics tonight, thought it was brilliant. Christian Bale as Michael Burry the first guy to notice the sub prime crash was about to happen, and Steve Carell playing a hedge fund manager are both outstanding in it. If you liked The Wolf of Wall Street you'll love this film, this is miles better.
