Mornin. So game on Saturday Vs Wednesday was ok, bit too full blooded for a friendly in my opinion but hey ho. Impressed by Rachubka, made a world class save from point blank on to the crossbar in 1st couple of minutes, couldnt do much with Pruttons goal, Connolly & Bromby could have stopped him 2 or 3 times before he got into the box. Gradel, Ross Mc, Kisnorbo, Brown all played really well, Brown got his foot in and did what nobodys been able to do for the past few seasons and break play up, get in the faces of opposition and be an all round little **** basically. Will work well with Howson. There was a black kid came on in DM role 2nd half, not sure who he was, maybe Osbourne? Looked really good, calm on ball, simple passes to feet and sound movement, id definatly sign him based on that performance? Mendy is the tall winger i think, again looks good, maybe not 100% match fit but dangerous & strong, also worth a punt imo. Shame Parker came off after 15mins again took a strong tackle, a few players took knocks cos of J.Johnson for them, dirty little ****er!!! Dissapointed in Clayton, wasnt in the game enough for me, Brown was everywhere & being 10yrs older than Clayton, basically took the piss outta him! Bromby looked slow but didnt really do much wrong, would like a signing for at the side of Kissa, maybe O'B will shine with a brain next to him? Paynter, this is no exaggeration, touched the ball once i think, and gave it away!!! There's no point signing a new striker when Becchio's only going to be out for the first few games. Maybe a young PL striker on loan but I'd say that should be it.
