Did the best he could. At times that wasn't great but I'll never slag a player like Willo, Riverre, etc whose only problem is that god didn't give them more talent. All the best to him.

However, we better have a cb lined up! We're short of defenders as it is!

Its ok Gary Cahill and Kieron Gibbs are arriving on loan.

    Elliott

    Janmaat
    Gibbs
    Cahill
    Mbemba

    Tiote
    Shelvey

    Sissoko
    Gini
    Townsend

That's how we will look from now to the season end. Should be enough. Exciting times.

Mitrovic, De Jong, Aarons, Colo, Saivet, Perez, Darlow is the bench.

Gouffran, Obertan, Willo, Riviere, Marveaux all flogged. In the Monument. Then sold.

Colback, Taylor, Dummett, Lascelles, Anita, Cisse, Thauvin, all hang about just in case.

no there are just rumours both are looking for game time ahead of the Euros. I merely suggested we try to loan them both to help out <laugh>

Good luck to Willo. Always tried, and did the best with what he had. Had a great season a few seasons back, but sadly that was a one off.

How is that no one rates Dummett. I'd be curious to see our winrate with dummett vs without. Alls I know is Dummett came back we beat norwich spurs and shiverpool, go on a half decent run, at least we play better. Dummy gets injured..we lose to watford again.

I'm part of the very tiny minority that think he's a decent defender. Much better at CB than LB though. Far ahead of Haidara as a LB even so.

I like Dummett. I aspire for a far better left back in the future but I have no complaints with the lad. Long term I see him as a reserve centre-back: Mbemba, Mystery Signing, Lascelles, Dummett. Quite acceptable options at CB for me going into next season.

Dummett = honest trier with, relatively speaking, limited ability. Top Championship player but lower PL player. Also noticeably better at CB than LB.

We need a new left back.

Well yeah I dont think Dummett is the greatest fullback, he's not an attacking fullback that's for sure. But I think Dummett will be captain of the team in the near future. I dont see anyone else. Ideally we'd get a proper, mature, offensive leftback and let Dummett mold into centre half.

That said, playing centre half, half of being a quality centre half is being experieced. I've watched John Stones lately..and quite honestly, everton if they're offered 30 mio again, or even more they should snap whoevers hands off. Sure Stones looked great on occasion but Steven Taylor had fantastic games back in 2008/9/10, look at him now. Arsenal wanted him remember. Yada yada yada. Stones was a liability yesterday and last Saturday.
