It has grown on me. I think it also looks better when you see it on its own. The simplicity of it is beginning to appeal.
When we can't have DT's then I'm really not that bothered. They're all pale in comparison. Agree though it's the best out of a poor bunch.
Would have been happy to keep the one we've got but that was probably the best of the options. Also, in terms of global marketing "London" should be on there.
Dull...but better than we have now, although that's not difficult. Perhaps the refinement will improve it...no, I'm clutching at straws
I never voted as there wasn't a "Non of the above" option, but 2 was the best of a bad bunch - any feedback from DT and his meeting at the club with his design? It was an excellent ptesentation, and I'm sure it would've beaten any of the others on the shortlist.
Hello viewers Back in Frogland and just seen this I met with the club and the design you are looking at isn't by anyway finished as I drew attention to the awful typography and the way that the words arch postionally Study this one from five minutes I hope you can see it's very unbalanced. The club has asked me to help on the final but seeing that this has been published now makes me think I am right about the behind the scenes organisation I expressed that the logo must be worked up comprehensively into a number of online and offline scenarios prior to launch I hope the club listens to me about the importance of brand as the two hours I spent there left me with some promise. I have advised that the club at the very least develop a typeface for all comms channels first Sea hoop will also see in ten seconds that the type used on the parent crest is not acceptable in 2016 I encouraged a full set of brand guidelines be formulated while this development project is undergoing The company I work for has had branding projects worldwide and costs are very varied ... The highest record being Accenture who I believe spent £150million converted from USD where the work was done Other projects have cost nearly nothing because magic just happens but the money required to enhance and grow a brand is scary My response was that the artist was going to do that for a price that is laughable ... About one day rate for me so we will see what comes out the other end but I have my fears My project was just a home hobby which I hadn't spent a lot of time on... It was a quick stab and I stated to the club that I prefer to keep my leisure or religion of our great club completely separate from my profession. If the club had asked for my design then I would of made sure that monies were given to much better people than designers... Too many people need help in this world so there was a dilemma for me. No problem taking it from the financial sector I work in plus I can sleep at night I haven't heard anything from the club since our meeting but was offered tickets for Wolves Inside LR it doesn't shout out as a good place to work IMO which surprised me The clubs brand and image is about as low as you can go and is a real mess. I hope they do something about it ... The biggest selling shirt I was told is still the Gusiness Classic to which I replied then there's your answer I think the final crest will be a lot tidier as it would take me a hour to finish it How that works on anything from a programme to a pair of slippers who knows and I doubt if that will be explored ... I only did a morning on my design work ups and would expect a few months of research and a 200 page plus document of finals So they have no typeface and no idea of brand colours ... sea hoop will laugh at that prospect The final logo could spawn a full range of crap that might or might not sale ... I do things differently and it's important because as a fan I would be expected to buy this stuff I will let everyone know if any new happens
