Nobody was after Yohan Cabaye when we signed him (otherwise he would have gone elsewhere) and look how he turned out!
Are you claiming full responsibility, on behalf of your club, for making him into the dirty bastard (probably the dirtiest in the Premier League) that he became
I'd take your NUFC blinkers off, he gets a lot of cards but he's not a dirty player. Maybe it depends on your definition of dirty to me it's snide elbows, stamps, that kind of thing. Haven't seen anything like that from Catts for a long time.
Hasn't piss biscuit been booked in half of his league games this season. 9 yellow in 18 games? Didn't he average more yellows per game than Catts last season? Jus sayin
Funny just putting together some stats on that. **** knows what you lot are doing with him but you've turned him into a right dirty ****. Bookings being what you use to measure dirty ****s.
Bloody hell Bri!! Let me have my WUM moments! Be gone with your stats. Ok I'll be serious. My thoughts on Catts have been well documented on this forum and to be honest, I think his fouls come as a result of having to do a lot of leg work at the back, put in tackles and be an all round DM. If you spend a larger portion of the match off the ball then who's going to put in a large amount of tackles? It's only fair to expect a couple go wrong. Coupled with frustration.
It seems to be a prerequisite of signing for Newcastle "Aleksandar do you swear to knee, elbow and stamp upon thy opponents at every opportunity?" "yes boss" "welcome aboard son"
Kone signed only hope he can manage to hit the premiership running - experience is overseas players take time to bed-in - but as you say must be an immediate improvement to Coates - watch this space I guess - but I hope his likely debut against Man City is better than Coates was - nutmegged off Aguero
