Bit harsh that Jimmy, I wouldn't say he's total rubbish, just not a very good footballer <ok>

thought we defended well last night, their goal was offside and other than van ginkel hitting the post we limited them. sakho in particular made a few crucial blocks.

our attack just could not get going, losing every 2nd ball.. trying little flicks that never come off

It looked like it had got better before the injuries.

Things will change when everyone is fit but it doesn't change that it needs investment.

I couldn't agree more that we need better DM.
But i do think Mignolet is pretty good keeper and that his confidence suffers from bad defense, which further suffers from poor defensive midfield... We saw how Pepe, one of the best keepers in the world at the time suffered from bad defense.

We could potentially bring new/better keeper. That won't hurt, but i think it won't change much if we don't improve in overall team defense.

  5. He is a good keeper but he's not a great keeper. Someone like De Gea, Lloris, Coutious (sp) or Cech saves at least two of the four we conceded against Norwich.

I think peopel need to say... ok... we've had a crazy december and january... if we can see a first choice team and back 5 settled over the course of February and we still flog goals then we are just ****e. if not then klopps done something.

  8. the reason we've had a crazy time in December and January is down to injuries, that situation isn't going suddenly be rectified come Monday <laugh>

Your being kind. He's average at best and there are plenty of keepers in the PL i'd take over him.

He is a good shot stopper, fair enough.

As for commanding his box and giving confidence to the defenders in front of him, he is piss poor.

All round, i can't go higher than average, and sometimes he's worse than that.

He is however, far better than Bogdan!

penalties is all about luck, butland the better keeper never got close to 1

  11. Plenty... De Gea, Butland, Lloris, Begovic, Cech, Courtois, Schmeichel, Hart, Adrian, Stekelenburg, Ruddy and even Gomes!

    (in that order)

  12. Nothing to do with his penalties and everything to do with respect and appreciation. He's far from the worst keeper we've ever had and he's had to put up with a pretty shocking team in front of him too. He's not good enough but nor does he deserve the amount of **** he gets.

I said over course of feburary if a settled team plays.

As in lovern and sahko, clyne and flanagan (for you)... mingolet, henderson, can for example... if that plays the full month and still can't clear its lines at set plays then you have to say this is bull

    disagree... I'd halve that list.

I'd only take de gea, lloris, cehc and courtois 100% and butland and Schmeichel and very good too... begovic meh. Adrian.. **** no. Steken? ruddy? gomes? no way are they any better.

Thats 6 better keepers for me and the rest are no better than mingolet really. they are all average which makes sense. 6 top, 6 crap then 8 average in middle.
