I'm not a fan of Khan but every time he fights everyone predicts he's going to get KO'd then when he wins they say his opponent was a bum.
Then again,you think Calzaghe was a far superior boxer to Roy Jones Jr so what's your opinion on the subject really count for....?
I think mayweather might be too slick for him, but who knows.. He's been really inactive and one fight (ortiz) isn't going to get rid of any ring rust.
Mayweather is a truly world-class boxer.... his defence is absolutely top drawer and he rarely wastes a punch. As you say though,there couldn't really be a better time for Khan to meet him. 33 year-old and very inactive of late.... he couldn't find a better time. I still have to go with Mayweather personally though. He just oozes class!
If its the Mayweather that fought against Mosley and Hatton Khan will get destroyed but if Mayweather has developed ring rust due to inactivity then who know, but on their day Khan couldn't touch Mayweather so in my opinion he doesn't deserve that shot. Khan needs to fight Bradley, Ortiz, maybe Prescott then talk about Mayweather and the Elite
