Feel gutted for Everton, but it wasn't as out as Stoke's goal last night was offside, and we didn't have this wailing and gnashing of teeth by all the commentators on Sky and 5 Live about injustices and the need for new technology. Was funny to hear Pelligrini use the same justification as Hughes though, in that they apparently deserved a bad decision to go for them because they were playing better at the time (I take it City might have had more than Stoke's 0 shots on target before that decision though?).

 

I wanted it to be a Merseyside final, but compensation for me is that we'll probably have a better chance against City.
