Not ot sure if serious or a joke? But....

If you're a passenger and you don't report it you're just as guilty!

They didn't go into detail but assume it's 1 driver and 2 passengers. Weird thing is it's a fiat 500, hardly a boy racer car. You'd think it was a car for a mum in her 40s

I wasn't serious <laugh>

I was wondering if they'd arrested a witness that didn't act or something. I guess passengers would be the same thing really.

I'd imagine that if you were a passenger in the car and you didn't come forward and dob in the driver, then you'd be an accessory or viewed as perverting the course of justice if you'd lied about the incident on record.

They may not be charged after interview.

If you were a passenger in the car and didn't step forward then you're as much of a **** as the driver. But I say the same for any witness that doesn't assist too.

They do have a clutch, but it's operated by computer rather than your left peg.

In cars of that ilk an old skool manual doesn't come close to the latest technology direct shift gearboxes, that can carry out the change operation quicker than a human.

Performance cars with paddle shift are great fun, as well as being faster than their manual counterparts, with the added benefit that you can keep 2 hands on the wheel!

As I said... no manual clutch.

The deliberate error was me saying it had a really heavy clutch.

It was a test.....

You didn't point this out yesterday when I asked but I forgive you. .. you had a big match to watch...

I'd rather have half the horse power and a fully manual transmission than some computerised flappy paddle gear box.
150bhp and a 'stick' is called an average family saloon over here these days mate ;)

You don't have any corners over there, so taking your hands off the wheel isn't a major issue [HASHTAG]#boring[/HASHTAG]

I don't live out West!

# of corners is comparable to UK. Population density is much lower though...

And yes, I'd rather drive a fully manual family saloon than an automatic sports car. I hate driving automatics.
