He's ****e, that's why. Think he ended up in the MLS.

It was a parody Twitter account anyway so it's a non story.

So, let me get this right. Rumours are we'll be shipping out:

    Rodders
    Coates

with Pants, Graham, Bridcutt and Buckley already gone
so only Mavrias and Roberge to go.nowt we can do about Toivinen and Yedlin - stuck with that lot til end of season, plus Fletch, Brown

    looking to bring in
    Debuchy
    Kone
    Ayew

with Jirkoff, N'Doye and Harper as 3rd/coach GK.

We could do with a quality midfielder, but if we close those ins and outs, I'd be fairly happy.

Think we can let Yedlin go. Think he'll go back and Mathews will go out on loan once we have a new RB in place.

Yes yes yes on a Mid. An attacking mid.

Allardyce said he doesn't think he needs a midfielder.

Hoping it's a bluff. I think it's obvious we need one.

I didn't want Sam, always found some of his decision making questionable. But he's still got my full support and he is doing ok with the dog **** he's got to work with. But he's not a man who warrants blind defence. Just like Tufty up the road, they're the sort of managers who constantly make decisions which make you think WTF? Still think he'll do a good job with us like over all.

Agree on a midfielder to some extent, but with the current situation at CB, ie WB & JoS as our mainstays with Dodgy cover at best, this is the area in most need imo. We can bypass midfield to some extent with a sharp counter attacking style, we have the manpower to go this way already in place, but you need a strong defence to play that way, and we aint got one atm.
Added to this the enigma that is AJ can look superb in this role albeit occassionaly.

Oh I like Sam Allardyce mate, I think he's got a tough job but there's nobody better for it.

Lee Cattermole is what I was getting at <laugh>

According to Chris Young we're looking to bring in another CB, a RB and some kind of forward, and looking too ship out one first teamer. I presume that's Coates.

Oh, that wasn't the area of Midfield I was even thinking about. Priority wise that's covered best we can for this season. We need an advanced midfielder imo desperately.

I wonder if you've tried to sign M'Vila permanently this window. Seems a perfect opportunity, I'm assuming no other clubs can talk to him whilst he's with you. By the time the summer window opens I'd imagine he could have a queue of clubs.

I have always thought that SC could make a good DM to cover YmV or LC in an emergency as well as CD cover. He has looked very good at times and we have never really stood by him under Big Sams tenure.

Yeah but what if BS DL the way SC HUTB and P YM to be in THR in CM and he ADBA to CF PVA when he's BF, that sort of DMN be in SC DNA.

Don't think we've got a chance in hell of getting him fella. Should have signed him outright from the off. Can't put the club down though as I thought a loan was the bet option too given his off field antics.

Tough one innit. You could have made a tidy profit on him potentially, but you've had your fingers burnt one or two times as well.

Few murmurs lately of him running on empty?

Amazing, we have at least six players who can perform reasonably well in central forward areas, yet we only have at best, old, very slow, injury prone and unconvincing central defenders, which has been a major problem for yonks, and is imo where our money should be spent, I expected more from Big Sam than this tbh.

He's played a lot of football, just under 2250 minutes, when you consider he played less than 750 last season it's easy to see why. Still, We're out the cup so all the lads will get the rest they need before the next game.

To be fair fella two in and one out at the back will mean we've got 11 senior defenders. Shipping out isn't easy. Sam's probably being realistic in what he can do, he can't force teams to bid on his players and he can't keep adding to 11 defenders. It's already way more in terms of numbers than we need. Should be more near 8 Senior defenders.

Besides, any forward who can create chances is very much needed imo. We don't create enough so there's definitly priorities further up the pitch I reckon.

Yeah but what if Big Sam doesn't like the way Sebastian Coates holds up the ball and prefers Yann MVila to be in the holding role in centre midfield and he always doubles back again to cover for Patrick Van Aanholt when he's bombing forward, that sort of ding (**** knows) might not be in Sebastian Coates' Deoxyribonucleic Acid. <ok>
