It's not debatable. You're top of the league. Everyone's sure that it won't last, but everyone's been saying that for quite a while now. Your squad might have been utterly turgid and boring against us recently, but I don't think that it lacked depth. We'll see if you drop off or not.
In fairness - whilst I've been having a bit of fun with you boys this afternoon, I doubt any Leicester fan that posts on these boards has taken anything from the OP 'claim' or indeed where we currently perch ... but things are getting rather exciting for us because we keep surprising ourselves ... very few would have predicted us putting Stoke to the sword like we did ... not many people do that ... as each game goes by the 'possibiliy' that we might just be contesting top 4 on the last day of the season starts becoming almost uncomfortably real ... dare to dream.
You're 10 points clear of the fifth place team and their fans hate their manager. You're not in any other competitions and your squad players aren't complete right-offs. I'd be surprised if you don't finish in the top 4.
Nothing wrong with dreaming Fosse. I'm happy for Leicester. They can live off this season for a good few years and it will bode well for your club and fans when your back fighting relegation. This season will always give you hope .
I understand your embarrassment at being so roundly "owned" by PNP (Mr Double-Barrels). Take comfort only in the fact that you are not the first nor, most assuredly, will you be the last. But, please, Fossil, don't use "Spurs=spuds=HIAG=dauphinoise=superiorSpud" tactic to avoid this debacle. It simply will not wash, mate.
thanks for the reality check buddy .. but I don't think our owners have any intention for us to 'go away' anytime soon ... in between joshing you lot this afternoon I've been monitoring reports of our pursuit of Eder from Sampdoria (apparently it's between us and Inter) only to find that we have had a £15 m bid for Ahmed Musa rejected! ... but are going to go back with an improved offer!! ... ... mind boggling for us Leicester fans and combined with the signings of Demarai Gray (who looks to have great potential) and Daniel Amartey (who has been attracting some rave reviews in Europe) we look as if we are building a formidable squad for he future ...
Don't get me wrong, Fossil, on a site where the term "spud" is thrown about willy-nilly to describe me and my brethren, and with some posters even talking in terms of "smashing spuds," to be referred to by the superior nomenclature "dauphinoise" is a considerable honour. I just thought that you would have been better served by admitting that you had been well and truly "owned." Every one of us would have respected you for that, Fossil.
It should also be remembered that in 2013/2014 Man City were top of the league for just 15 days of that season they just happened to include the most important one. I wonder whether we maybe witnessing something similar again this season!
Speculation growing about Pochettiho's future, with Chelsea short listing him to their wish list. Along with Utd, he could be subjected to some lucrative offers from some big clubs this summer. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...manager-added-to-blues-hit-list-a6835536.html
