    Based upon what?

Over the course of the season Ronney was poor.

If you look at Suarez's goals per game (LFC and Ajax) then his stats are far better than Drogba, Torres or Tevez. Now considering that Suarez does not play as a CF then your contention is somewhat flawed.

There is a substantial difference in the quality of the Dutch league and the PL.

    Messi
    Ronaldo
    Villa
    Rooney
    Van Persie
    Agüero

Thats 6 better forwards and i didn't even take into account the likes of iniesta and Xavi for midfield. He simply isnt at the very top. He's very good but a top 20 player at best.

What do you base you're selection of players on?

I've watched nearly all of the Copa America and I agree that he is a quality player but it really is funny how fast you Liverpool fans jump the gun with all your praise. You're just setting yourselves up for a fall. It's probably why you get ridiculed so much.

At international level, I'd say he's better than all of them bar Villa. That's mostly down to the fact the others tend to underperform for their country (notably Messi) or are inconsistent (Ronaldo).

Shouldn't you be more comcerned with the delusions of your manager and the ridicule that awaits your team next season?

    666 posts, nice!
And I would agree, plus I'd say he's a better player than Van Persie. If nothing else, Van Persie seems to miss more games than he's in, at least for the last two seasons. If he doesn't have an injury, he's recovering from one. I would agree with the rest club level except Messi. No one wants him! :p

You're sweeping comment about us "setting ourselves up for a fail",dont make me laugh,Saurez was twice the player Torres was since January and thats what matters to us.

And by the way, just like we dont ALL say "this year is our year" we also ALL dont claim hes the best in the world.

But just ask the many European based South American players how good he is.

Suarez is a good player. Anyone who says otherwise is deluded. However while he has played well at international level of late, he still is largely unproven at PL level. Give him a season and then judge him.

as a neutral and hating both liverpool and united, i would definately say suarez is a lot better than hernandez, but i would'nt say that suarez is anywhere near the best striker in the world or the league, he has the potential, he has showed real class, i thought when you guys first signed him he was another way over the top overpirced player but i think hes been worth it, i can think of many strikers in the prem that are better than him although i would rate him above Van Persie

    Rooney
    Torres
    Drogba
    Tevez
Aguero if he signs for city

Agree with all you said except Torres. I think he played so well for Liverpool because we changed our style to suit him, something that Chelsea hasn't done. He was at one point, but for the last year, he has been drastically off form. And I don't hate him because he abandoned us, I applaud all he did for lfc.

i agree he had a bad last season with you guys but during rooney's poor form, i would still rate him as one of the best strikers, i dont think you can judge a player on one season but more there career, torres left you guys at the right time for him, he needs to get that form back and he will quickly find himself back up there

    Oh dear.

Let's try a little MUFC reasoning. Where did Mexico finish in Copa America?

Oops, hoist by your own petard, me thinks! LOL

    ;)

I take it we are talking attacking players?

    Messi
    Ronaldo

    No arguments with the above

Villa Great player but no longer improving and Barca are already looking to replace him if reports are true.

Rooney Biased opinion, he has not performed at international or domestic when it really matters i.e. finals, semi finals games that matter.

Van Persie If he wasn't so injury prone you would have a point.

Agüero Yet to be tested at a top club, but looks a great prospect.

Suarez is coming into a period where the world of football is sitting up and taking notice of him, we bought him at the right time. He is one of the best attacking players in the world.

    Sugchester.
He's better than every forward you mentioned except Tevez and he's Tevezs' equal. For the last time Shrek is not world class, was never world class or will ever be world class.
