I understand what your saying but if they play like they did Sunday especially Stones as he had a nightmare, it will be easy for city.
Good luck to Everton tonight. Would love them to win the Capitol One Cup as Liverpool, even when relatively rubbish win this trophy on a regular basis, and City have won silverware recently so it would be great for Everton to win something for a change.
A part of me would like Pellegrini to win all 4 trophies and then watch City squirm as they sack him.
When Pompey won the FA Cup I got a text saying that the end of the world was nigh. We've almost gone out of business; been relegated to League One; been rescued; won at Wembley and had two promotions. Not to mention enjoying life in the Prem. Long game, guys. We're better than that shower. We are Southampton and Lovren and Lallana will hardly merit a footnote in a few years time.
I'd be amazed if City get anywhere near the final of the CL as there are clearly two or maybe 4 superior teams in that competition, the obvious two from Spain, Bayern and PSG (hope they slaughter our lovely friends from London)
Sunderland & Newcastle played a friendly behind closed doors today...not sure the point of it really, could you imagine us and Pompey doing that ? The score? Sunderland won 6-0!!! Off the back of that I read a piece about Lionel Messi's implied rivalry with Christiano Ronaldo. There was all the build up and then it was about who would be first to score their 1000th goal as Messi has 480 odd and Ronaldo has nearly 520 or something. Anyway, the total between them is 999, and so The Sun was wondering who would score number 1000? Who the f*** cares? Honestly, I thought I was going to read something of interest.
Apparently they have been trying to keep the details of Bale's transfer secret because Ronaldo will get upset if he isn't the most expensive footballer.....get a life man.
