<laugh> priceless .. a thread where you Spuds have self acknowledged that your Prem period European exploits are equivalent to that of Accrington Stanley; had to concede them inferior to Middlesbro and Fulham ... and that you have difficulty in identifying a mid point in a season ... surely could only be surpassed for hilarity if the most deluded Spud of all turns up to claim 'ownings' <laugh> ....is the dress blue and black or white and gold? .... whatever next? a footballing power shift on the basis of finishing 5th more often than 4th? ... hold my sides ... HIAG = Cannon fodder (in more ways than one) <laugh>

I conceded that Leicester's all-time European exploits were the equivalent of Accrington Stanley's.
Not sure how you got that mixed up, to be honest.

... if so, my bad <laugh> ... but just to clarify ... could you please confirm your club's European success during the Premiership era?

It's the same as the clubs that you're claiming have done better than us, rather bizarrely.
Boro and Fulham have won as many European trophies as we have in the Premier League era.
You seem to be randomly determining success based upon personal preference.

    Just for HIAG

    1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
    2. Place the potatoes in a pot of salted water.
    3. Bring to boil and blanch for 2 minutes, until tender, but not to where they fall apart when putting them in baking dish.

Since the premier league began only three clubs have won a European trophy, Utd, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

That's completely consistent with what I've been saying, though.
Winning trophies is better than not. Progressing consistently is better than not. Winning any games at all is better than Leicester.

... ergo ... taking 4 points off Spurs and sitting top of the pile makes Leicester currently better than anyone in the EPL ...I just knew we were all going to agree in the end <whistle> ... now isn't that a nice feeling?

Whether it was done intentionally or not, I must offer my congratulations to CFC for starting one of the best stealth Wums I've seen.

I'm sure gonzo would be proud to call this his own!

The league hasn't finished, nor has anyone's participation in it. Even Villa's.
Leicester have done better than anyone else so far, but everyone hasn't played the same fixtures.

Nobody's discussing Chelsea because they've been bloody awful, though.
They're picking up form at the moment, annoyingly. If they become relevant again, then people will WUM them.

Yes, but intentional or not, it's got both Spurs and Leicester fans really wound up. Considering he's a fan of neither team, i think as stealth wums go this has been very good!
