Would like to see what Kadar would do if thrown in the deep end at LB, we'd still have Fergie or one of the wingers available if he couldnt handle it. Would need to buy a new CB if he became our starting LB.

I think he'd do fine defensivley but wouldn't offer much going forward, I know he hasn't had many first team games at LB but he never seemed dangerous going forward, more like a John O'Shae full back in that he would defend, then give the ball to someone who can play with it.

Seem to remember hearing that Gateshead thought a lot about Tavernier, both the club and the fans.

What's his overall agility and skill like?

You need more athletic and quick youngsters that's all and I've heard that he's highly rated

You wha? He wouldn't need to track back as much with a more defensive minded full back behind him.

True, but then we could see a lot more from Gutierrez with a more defensive full back.

Not forgetting with plenty of pace and agility <doh>

Simply running is meaningless without those attributes

    Just checking.

Still though in terms of a new LB, if Ashley wants to sign one then
you should go for Cissokho due to his Gretchen amount of speed an agility.

    Alternatives include Kolarov or Ilunga

We could always sign Oba again and stick him at LB...

Ah right, Jonas is a funny dribbler, never seems in control yet is good at going past people.

Just a shame about his deliveries.

I like Kadar, He has been decent every time I have seen him play. Strong and quick and I'm sure he has played LB before. I'd be more than happy for him to lay LB when Jose leaves. As for Fergie, I really rate him but as a winger. I think he will be great on the left wing for us in the future but I don't think he is strong enough for LB, He could do a job as cover but if he is going to be a stater I believe it has to be on he wing.
