Think with Efford it's more his Millwall connections.

i think the thing that matters here is that again, the regime are being told that what they're doing is wrong. the more people to do so the better. if they know that local mp's have concerns about what they're doing it's less likely to mean that they'll get approval for things like knocking down the jimmy seed and building flats. it's not in the mp's best interests to have a constituent of p1ssed off voters so they'll side with the fans in exchange for votes.

the protests need to step up a bit more now. i dont even think the horse came to the window on saturday.

But the MP's can't do much if RD decides to go down that route. Nor can the council.

It's the mayor and secretary of state - and as we ''need'' more accommodation - they would override anyone who opposes. So I've been told anyway.

I think they will use Leyton Orient as an example. I seem to remember reading each block generates £2mil.

    Proper politician responses to Miere:
"Whilst the club has a positive vision for the future...."
Basically he's going to do nothing. Turned up, showed his face for a few thousand votes in his favour during the next local elections.

It is nothing more than cheap political grandstanding - CAFC is a private entity, and as such Matt Pennycook has no say over the treatment of its 'customers' whatsoever.

Matt has plenty of time on his hands thanks to the "JC Effect" - about the next 9 years in fact <cheers>

Preaching to the converted in south east London. Given the coverage from other places (Sky, the Guardian etc) this piece is really going nowhere. I suppose you have to accept that not everyone will jump straight in and demand a sell up from an owner of a local business, the 'concerns raised' really won't raise any eyebrows in Bruges. I doubt KM will even bother telling RD this meeting occurred.

'Oui oui, Roland, I met someone important with an impronouncable name, and gave him the same s#1t we gave the fans in 2014, and guess what, he bought it too! So what do you want me to say about the Feeney deal falling through?'

'Just ignore them Katrien, and they'll find something else to do in time'.

Pretty much - she also used the CAST to hide behind. They are two completely different commodities, a body which no one was questioning.

So quite why KM asked them to be there, shows her being a coward again.
