Wouldn't have Lallana anywhere near the team. Sterling maybe, Walcott though his form isn't great and others would offer more iMO if 4-4-2 is the plan. Anyway, this thread has no credibitility until people suggest Austin up front.
Width from the full backs. Dier can drop into to make a 3. Lallana and Barkley would play inside so we can retain possession. Rose could make the squad with Shaw injured but Mason has hardly played this year so, like Townsend, would not make it,
nah, we should be content with sterling and lennon as back up. walcott can always play there if necessary. there's always adam johnson too, forgot about him...perfectly suited to our mediocre set up. plus jordon ibe will make the breakthrough in 1-2 years... once he get the goals to his game he'll get the nod. tom ince too... see, we're producing so many world class right wingers
Ive forgotten about Sterling. Problem solved. Ibe is too raw...he can go both ways...hopefully for you JK does his magic.
Some of these suggested teams shows what a **** state you're in, no balance and trying to shoehorn in players all over the pitch and changing formations with every post. Get a formation that suits your best players and stick with it would be a start. If I was the Engerland manager I'd be looking for a set formation and to develop the younger players, get them to bond and develop as a team. Mine would be........ Butland Clyne Stones Shawcross Bertrand Henderson Barkley Delph Ali Kane Sterling
I don't follow the Engerland team so it's probably a bit out there as a team but if Roy stuck with that and added a few others to compliment them from the beanch they wouldn't do much at the Euros but come the World Cup they'd certainly start to gel and look a lot better together. The winger from you lot would certainly be involved and I'd of course have Vardy involved, Rooney wouldn't even make the squad but that's probably my Man Utd bias.
