yeah it has to be some twist but if so i cant wait to see how they think theyre gonna pull that off tbh is it seemed pretty straight forward no returns dead as a door nail type death to me i also like the way edward nigma has turned into riddler, the guy plays it well imo. bruce is a bit of a pussy, even for a young privileged boy, so it will be interesting to see how they develop him into a more harder/batboy type character but i dont think we will see much of that until later seasons tbh. its good ****, better than daredevil i think.
i only found out today he was supposed to be deadpool in origins i wonder why they diddnt just call him deadpool instead of project-x? he has the sword arms, teleports and shoots lasers out his eyes against wolverine in that film, strange.
Yes, but a lot of it was ****. He was directed to be hugely annoying mouth piece then they sewed his mouth shut as x so it looked to me very deliberate policy. I'd say he also phoned it in.
Agree with nearly every word bast "turned into riddler". He was blatantly the riddler from day one. I'm more interested in the Bruce story than anything else. I hope it tells us how he became the tough & clever Bruce Wayne. I want to know more about the bat cave developments too.
Anyone seen the leaked shortlist for a young Han Solo in the upcoming Origin type movie? Miles Teller Ansel Elgort Dave Franco Jack Reynor Scott Eastwood Logan Lerman Emory Cohen Blake Jenner Christ.......
I love Coen brothers films and it is one of the best. The comic where Robin dies is A Death in the Family, The Killing Joke is about the origin of the Joker. The Dark Knight Rises is good if you want to see the 2 of them go at it with Batman kicking the big blue boy scouts ass.
As much as the new fims are going to be great based on The Force Awakens, all the side fims and little stories will be terrible.
Season 2 has started well, the lad playing Joker is doing a good job so far but he's not quite messed up enough yet.
It's not as good as some of the ratings suggest, I enjoyed it but at times found the story a bit drawn out and tedious, I almost binned it myself but was glad I stuck with it. Better Call Saul is instantly better imo and if they can continue in the theme of season 1 it could be a very good series.
Is anyone else not just totally sick of comic book and superhero adaptations in films ?! If people love this stuff so much, most of which is just utter garbage, read the fricking comics and let film-makers make films that have some element of originality. Why can't the filmmakers and studios come up with original ideas for films instead of churning out all this stuff ?? I know I know, this stuff is easy as the material and fan-base is already there meaning they don't have to do any real thinking. It's ridiculous though, given the release time-frames and lengthiness of the comics, we'll all be in our nineties before they get even a third of the way into some of these stories. That leads me onto the issue of trailers now. Why do we have to have this massive 'tease' for most films that come out (but especially the geek comic ones mentioned above) with preview clips, trailers for the main trailer, main trailer 1, main trailer 2, out-takes from the first trailer etc, reviews of the trailers, like over a year before the film is even due to be released. I'm not interested in all that ****. Just give me the ****ing synopsis for the film and some initial reviews in the week before it's due to be released and I'll make my own mind up on whether it's worth seeing. Youtube and the age of quick-consumption media has a ****-load to answer for sometimes. Rant over
Have you seen how much money the Avengers movies and Batman Trilogy and Man Of Steel made? Thats why they keep making it, supply and demand. The viewing audience, ie the ones with the money, want more of this ****, so thats why the film studios keep making them. Regardless of your personal opinion on the movies' quality, they make a **** ton of cash, they will only stop when the money stops coming in. Me personally I love the Marvel stuff (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Avengers), but am less keen on the DC movies (Nolan's Batman trilogy was okay, I loved the first one, the second was boring, but saved by a great performance from Heath ledger, the third one was the movie equivalent of Valium). I know what you mean though, some of it is getting tiring, Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy, the gajillionth Spiderman reboot......but like I said, the only way it will stop is when it stops making money, and unfortunately there are a few billion fan boys out there who will go watch anything adapted from one of their beloved comics.
I loved the Saul character in BB, lots of people in the office have suggested that I give it a go/would enjoy it more than BB as it is a little faster paced.
Breaking Bad was a very good show. I enjoyed it, but wasn't too keen on the last season, however, it is very overrated. When someone says "Breaking Bad is da best show evaaa!!" I do have to resist the urge to snap their neck in a rage. Its very good, but seriously, watch literally ANYTHING HBO has put out in the last 10 years (Except Sex and the City ).
