I was BBC606 poster and moved over here once it finally closed...I have had the same username from the start..

Two of my favourites were flash and psycho. He used to post about Newcastle's attendances in the 70's and 80's all the time. The daft sod.

I used to get emails of the BBC mods "your post has been removed" about 10 times a day. . Usually involving smug. Used to have the gloves on with him every day for years. I'd get slated off black and whites for this, but in my eyes, he's a great bloke. Shared a few messages with him and got some mutual friends who swear he's a cracking lad.

 

I was dcccsafcpenguin on the 606 board i got a bit pi**ed off on there as i got modded for winding the mags up when i asked them to have a word with the club to stop that fat bloke who used to sing while waving the flag. I said he was embarrasing the north east. Then came back onto the safc board and a mag was posting that if you are a kid you are more likely to get molested in Sunderland ffs - those mods were f**king corrupt

 

I was a BBC606 member from way back in 2003! The glory days of tossing off A-Level coursework. Mainly stayed on the Newcastle board though and was more of a lurker than a poster but it was good times. Hated the over zealous moderators (would get banned and need to set up new accounts all the time )

 

Wow! 5 years of torture too! I used to post on the old 606 too and came over to hear on the 25th with a load of the others. Got to say that I miss Big Chris. I spent many a night literally crying with laughter at his threads, particularly his ITK posts the guy was a legend for all the wrong reasons.

I can't remember her username. I just know her by her own name. She didn't post very oftern.

Just like to say its been a fab 5 years. Some bloody good posters on here. Some hearty chuckles. Some niggly moments but all in all cheers boys and girls
