Everyone who posts on GC has a responsibilty to carry themselves with dignity, @alwayright 's behaviour was appalling and falls below standards that we expect.
The guy is a loose cannon and can't be trusted to conduct himself in a manner that doesn't cause offence to others.
I am very dissappointed by him and can only hope a time of self reflection may make him realize how urtterly vulgar and abhorrent he has acted.
The Moderation staff have a thankless task on here because of the odd bad apple like @alwaysright and I will continue to support them in their quest to stamp out any further situations in the future.

We can't have the good name of Not606 general chat dragged through the mud at the expense of losing valuable advertising revenue .

I was present when alwaysright was banished and let me tell you this, it was a travesty. A total miscarriage of justice.

What I witnessed that night will live with me forever. Alwaysright was the inoccent party and was cruelly cut down by over zealous officialdom. If ripping the pish out of Toby is grounds for expulsion then this place should be empty.

Problem when calculating benefits is the housing benefits...landlords charge a lot and get it paid...it doesn't go to the claimant.
If there was a maximum rent system the benefits bill would dramatically drop. Imho I think that landlords are raking it in and the Government is doing sod all to stop it.

 

Most members of parliament are landlords making a fortune.

Strange that they won't introduce rent caps, no?
