Not real Scouse, NSIS. Red Scouse. They have to give the ex-Liverpool commentators someone to hail as some sort of Messiah or they'll have nothing to talk about. It'll all be as dull as Michael Owen.
you'd pick delph over henderson not even going to ask based on what because i 've heard enough crap f or 1 day
Why not? He's surrounded by better players on a daily basis. Has been getting into the team, can put a tackle in, can score the odd goal. Even City fans think the only thing in the way is Yaya Toure's reputation.
I think that they're playing Toure wrong, though. He needs to play further up the park and let someone else do more of the defensive work. One of Fernando and Fernandinho plus someone like Delph could do it.
that's not the point, out of the 2 available he said he'd pick delph over henderson. and don't get me wrong i'm not even a huge hendo admirer... i just think delph is beyond ****
he probably trains with the u21s over there he gets that much game time, what waffle are you talking about?
Ah, well in that case, if we're talking about a starting eleven, it can only be Clyne, surely? There are better players than both Henderson and Lallana available.
Even Clyne's debatable. We've played with Walker a lot this season and our defence has conceded fifteen less goals. Stoke have let in seven less goals and they're playing Glen Johnson at right-back.
Because Fosse had picked Henderson. I came up with an alternative. Delph played on the weekend for City. Had a good game. His problem was playing next to the lump that is Yaya.
.. full back from left field (although right back ) might be Danny Simpson .. frankly I thought he was absolute carp last season ... but since he came in this, following an injury to de Laet, he has been solid as a rock and we have conceded very few goals during that time ... (coincides with the wonderful Christian Fuchs coming in on the left which might explain why the 'unit' has been so good) .. Simpson is not great in possession but is looking better and better defensively ...
I suspect that Hodgson's not going to pick every available Leicester player, I'm afraid. He is a dour and defensive-minded manager though, so you never know.
... Simpson would fit that sort of formation and outlook ... his main problems start once he has won the ball
If Vardy gets played out left there's no point in him going, he's not a winger, he's a through the middle striker
------------Hart Walker---Stones--Smalling---Baines Lallana---Alli----Dier----Barkley -----Kane-------Vardy Wasn't thinking of him on the wing, but more inside left. This formation could work, given the forwards are good enough to be more fluid than a static 4-4-2
