12k, but with finance would work out more obviously. But p/x will make it bit less...

I dread to think what your wheels are like. I hope you're not cleaning them yourself or have a high power hose

Yeah that would be a decent price. Fairly low mileage that. On Autotrader I'm seeing between high 9k and 14k for that model with those figures depending on what bells and whistles it comes with

Yeah I looked and seemed decent. It doesn't have any extras so it's pretty basic model but to be honest not overly fussed by having heated seats etc.

Mileage was main one and it's pretty low, I do about 15k a year just to and from work. Just have to hope no one beats me to it!

bmw climate control is good, no real need for heated seats, was 15C today anyway, call that winter ?! Just as well cause if there's more than a couple of inches of snow you won't be going anywhere in it lol

Yeah, 12k a year is the average miles driven in US so 26k would be considered quite light for a three year old car here.

26k is a long way away from needing any major servicing too.

Yeah just watch the service bills.

My missus' sister is married to a BMW master mechanic. You know they can name their price for parts and labour right? Find out if anything is coming up. It's barely oil and spark plug territory but just get a good look at brakes.

Also just look at tires. After 3 years and that little mileage you might be looking at originals... not if low profile but 3vyears is the time the got to change.

Forgot to say... we went to theirs before Christmas. ... we minded their kids cos he had a 5 series in.

He had to take the entire engine out to go do the timing chains. A fortune of a bill that was a nice earner for him as he's got his own garage going.

Find out on these smaller ones where they are and when it needs doing and make sure you shift it on before that bill. Might be totally different set up but thought an example would be fun

It was terrible. That is all. Fell asleep and had to finish it when I woke up. Best thing was probably the first match between Ambrose and Owens

The Rumble match itself was totally dull

This Roman Reigns guy is a joke, so unconvincing, and it's a joke how desperate they are for him to be big when it's clear most of the fans ****ing hate the guy from the boos he gets (not of the good kind), and ridiculous that he misses 3/4 of the match after a 'beatdown' and then comes back again like nothing has happened. This storyline sucks and very pathetic that they think this is the best they can do. Glad Trips put him over the top rope

    Brock Lesnar is alright

The rest of the roster is either talentless or really badly booked

Shouldn't watch the trash I guess. Well I don't apart from the Rumble and Mania

Audi a3 is a nice wagon.

They are expensive when new.... then again they are just a dress up golf <whistle>

    Supposedly quite good.

I would prob get on if I didn't have to buy the wife's next one yet again. .. away with the armoured personnel carrier that is a zafira and get a regular big car now.

Wouldn't get an Audi due to VW involvement <laugh> not that there's anything wrong with either and Audi have some v nice models but if you're getting premium for me it's BMW or Merc all the way as they're not owned by a conglomerate

Sound advice, tires and brake callipers are some of the highest outlays you can have. Reckon the brakes will be fine unless whoever owned it drove it like an idiot, tires could be on the edge though and you'll be looking at a couple to a few hundred quid a pop for the proper ones there

    Not buying from new.

This is one is 2k cheaper than the bmw was looking at, but slightly smaller engine 1.6 rather than 2. Rest is all pretty similar though.

  19. Took a mate to look at a A3 over the weekend. Very nice but they all look the same on the inside, dated material trim.

Think I'm leaning towards a3'compared to bmw now. Bit cheaper although only 1.6 compared to 2 litre. See what the acceleration is like in it in comparison.
