No idea why they look so lethargic, some of them maybe starting to feel the effects of playing so many games due to our injuries? No idea.

    Hello Poppickers,
You were a little unlucky against a ugly Chav team , who have been boring neutrals for a decade .
Take away the steroids this sesspit of a club with its racists and plastics would be nowhere .
Sometime club loyalty!s overcomes right or wrong .
Anyway we are surprisingly doing well , at the moment .
    chin up

Ok good for you, in the league, other than City, we have been poor. and as another poster pointed out, since Xmas, 8 points from 18, that's **** form.

4 wins out of five in the league in December isn't poor. In terms of performances City is the obvious standout performance. Clean sheets against Villa (lol) and Bournmouth. Scored 2 or 3 goals in all four league wins, with City being the only game won by a single goal. Definitely better than average.

Though I'll add again January has lacked results and top performances.

8 points out of 18 is poor. 2 points out 9 is poor, 3 games and no win is poor, losing at home to Chelski is poor, not beating Chelsea for the 9th time in the league is poor, not scoring against Chelski in the league for 6 games is poor.

At the moment, we are going the usual route of bottling it, 3 big games, no wins, all signs again of the annual bottle when the going gets tough. :).

I get your frustration, but seriously, your fellow fans must be getting so tired of your bullshit.
You are like Hudson from Aliens "GAME OVER, MAN!!"

Every time Arsenal lose I can safely put my mortgage on Arsenal87 being outraged in the thread calling his fellow fans **** wits and having a go at imaginary fans who are really pleased with your losses.
Seriously, name names, because I am starting to think you are losing your sanity! I don't come on here often but I have never seen any Arsenal fans on here celebrating a loss and saying how much they love it.

Like I said January hasn't been good, but my comments were in reply to the idea we have been **** for 3 straight months. December was a good month. So it's not been a constant stream of not being good enough, we've had ups and downs. Our consistency hasn't been good enough, we've put in some great performances this season, had some good runs of results, but also had dips were we have dropped too many points.

We still have a few difficult games to go this season but we also have a kinder run in than others currently near the top (excluding our second last game being city). If we are in the mix approaching the last couple of months I'd put us in with having a good chance to win the league. We have to make sure we don't start to drop away though.

20 minutes were it was fairly frantic, Chelsea probably the better team, Mert sent off, Costa scores, game goes to **** until Sanchez comes on with half an hour to go when we get some urgency into our game (had been so lethargic before that, highly annoying) and had a few chances to get the equaliser but it wasn't to be. Pretty **** really.

When we lose like we did, to your team, again, you damn right I'm going to be very pissed off. You damn right I'm gonna be pissed off when we have gone 3 games without a win when we're challenging for the title, when we've gone 3 games without a win in 3 big games, we bottled, simples as that, so there's every reason to be pissed off. And it sure as **** is game over if we stay playing like this, I said it after the Stoke game, and have been proven right, that we won't remain top if we keep playing like we are, lo and behold, we're now 3rd, no more able to use that **** argument of oh oh we're top so it's ok that we have been **** recently.

I get that you are pissed off, because you are in poor form. Imagine how Chelsea fans have been feeling this season <laugh>
What I don't get is why you get abusive to your fellow Arsenal fans every time you lose, calling them all "delusional **** wits" and the "spin job brigade" and all this.

To be fair we did pick up when Sanchez came on, we started stretching their defense and creating space, we just lacked any presence in the box because we had to take Giroud off and Theo played ****. It was so bad that Flamini was consistently the Arsenal player usually in space in the box, unfortunately we weren't playing Spurs so his shooting was awful!

The start of the game was woeful, the passing embarrassing, pressing non-existent and we allowed Fab to control the game and pick any pass he wanted. Merts made an idiotic last man tackle to get sent off after being caught out of position - again after we didn't press them on the ball and they had loads of time to play Costa in behind Merts.

I think we all just need to ignore him for a few days until he calms down, stops with the insults and stops repeating himself...

The delusional brigade not coming with excuses today (like the Stoke game) because they're all out of luck today, no excuse possible. It's good they admit we were ****, need more of the same in the future, unfortunately don't think it'll last long and it won't be long before the delusional excuses-spin jobs will come along and normal service resumed, heck, if we drew today, they'd be out in right full force praising our character, spirit, and mental fortitude to get a good result based on the circumstances.

I started insulting after another poster labeled the people complaining as ******s, you can and see it for yourself, the insults started coming AFTER that comment, not before.

:). So if it's fair game to insult us, fair game to insult back at the delusional **** wit ****er brigade.

This result couldn't have come at a better time as the boys will be buzzing to put it right in the next match against Burnley. With any luck we should hopefully lose that one too because then we'll be really buzzing to put things right against Southampton and use the loss as motivation to win the title. A loss at home to Southampton would then really up the ante and give the squad an incredible buzz to go out and do over Bournemouth!
