According to his agent, he has offers on the table from Millwall, Charlton and Colchester. Heard we have offered him a one year deal, but he's after longer and Charlton and Colchester have offered longer!! Would you welcome him back? Surely better than anyone you have currently!!
ure to be honest, don`t think he did alot for you lot last season ws a flop at Ipswich did well with col u though so imagine if true its where he will end up.
Better than BWP? Hmm BWP is a better finisher. Hayes - haven't seen enough to be able to judge him much. Benson - a bit better than Benno I guess. But to be honest I'd welcome him back, even though he did headbutt Nicky Bailey last time he was at the Valley.
Darius Henderson whilst not playing a game in league one- couldn't do enough in the championship to help prevent his team dropping in to that division .
Assume this is another TC wind-up? Despite his undoubted Premier League pedigree and Charlton history, I'd pretty much despair if we turned back to Lisbie, the only person who'll retire and still be being labelled a 'promising youngster'. Not good enough, never was.
Sheff Utd have blamed their relegation on the fact that Henderson was injured for most of the season. If he had played more than the 6 league games (scoring twice) they are adamant that they would still be in the Championship TVR - No wind-up mate!! Incidentally - spoke to my Uncle yesterday who popped in on his way back from Woking - Charlton have asked Jason Ewell to take a massive wage cut (over 75%) and sign for a season and he is seriously considering it as he would love to end his career at Charlton. Fair play to him if he does, as not many pro's show that kind of loyalty these days
And some more http://www.seagulls.co.uk/page/MatchReport/0,,10433~22045,00.html I'm sure he's looking forward to returning to League 1 with Millwall.
Correct again IA - helped Brighton gain promotion from League 1 that season. I'm glad i said "don't think" instead of "hasn't". If we do go down to League 1 (no chance at the moment though - not with the brilliant Kenny Jackett in charge ) lets hope Charlton are still around to give us a local derby, and not competing in League 2
This smacks of a typical Lovely Geezer wind up to me. However, seeing as you asked the question... It's two emphatic No's from me. Kevin Lisbie is without doubt one of the worst players I've ever had the misfortune of seeing wear the shirt of my beloved Charlton!!
