Match Day Thread Everton v Swansea

This is great news. Gives Guidolin a few weeks to get to know his players etc better before the next game.

We have to be realistic today guys, a few moaning about giving the ball away and lumping it up field, but that is the nature of the beast being in a relegation fight. We kept going till the end and even though yes we did just lump away on times we were able to get our 2 lines back in place also with Everton having nothing to lose at that stage pushed players on and crowded us out forcing us no knock balls long, despite that we still could have had a couple of great chances if I think both siggy and Ayew had seen Ki on his own twice. I am just pleased to see us win away and show we do have a pair for a fight till the end of the season. If we could win away playing like that every week I will take it, a few more wins though and you will see a more relaxed side playing more football.

 

Hopefully the Ospreys can do the business in Exeter and make it a "double" today!

 

As (hopefully) the win ratios improve then so should the players confidences , we're definitely on an upward path , there will be losses ahead but wins as well if we can perform to the levels we have as seen over the last few games .

 

I see it quite the opposite;

They have less pressure now and another win would be amazing. FA cup next week, new striker, time for the manager to implement his tactics and the fact we have a good time up at WBA. Things are looking better and better didn't expect anything today

I agree gives him time to implement how he wants us to play and if we had still been in the FA cup would have changed so many players would have learned pretty much nothing from it.

 

Shows again how these so called pundits know **** all.

 

4 points from the next two games will see the pressure off and give the team the freedom to play their game! I love sticking it up every pundits ares like we did today! Goes to show that they know FA about the swansea way

I think I would have used something stronger, but nice and restrained. He probably hasn't even seen us play a whole game this season.

 

All we want now is a decent striker in and every thing is gonna be alright

2 wins on the bounce gotta love that ! 90% happy with that game a big difference to before xmas, very very important win to lift the guys and us up the table from now on i hope. Rangel struggled a bit but gave everything, Leon great as always, routs same old hit n miss and we didnt even use Barrow & Montero ! what a great win and introduction for our new Italian freinds. still got time to add quality if they pull finger out and senior whats his face has time now to graft his knowledge onto our players.
Nice to feel optomistic again and hopefully put the bad spell behind us now.

**** Shelvey, the way everyone was dribbling over him was soooooo OTT it was unbelievable. He deserves to go down IMO his attitude is all wrong for a top professional, he blames everyone else apart from himself. Good riddance to him and tabanou obviously a negative influence on the team

 

I see our fellow relegation candidates Chelski are winning at half time!

 

It was like Henry, Carragher and Henry saying it's silly we are thinking of selling Ayew when Curtis has already come out and said he isn't going anywhere. They also talked about Guidolins English, yet he came across far better than I was expecting in his interview.

The pundits can get stuffed, the lot of them. They're pissed off we've sacked a young English manager and got rid of one of the biggest doughnuts to wear an English shirt in recent years.
