Surprised that no-one (yet) has mentioned that Jay Simpson scored his 21st goal yesterday. And that someone else (with an unusual surname) scored the second. Some young kid, probably farmed out on loan to get experience. Wonder which wise old manager thought of that one eh?
Surely you would rather have a young player out on loan building up experience of playing competitive league matches as opposed to just sitting around not getting a game? Any game experience and confidence is surely benefits us long term. Stop looking for a stick to beat Bruce with.
Jahraldo-Martin is doing exactly what he was sent out to do, long may it continue, it's exactly what we should be doing with the young lads with no league experience.
John Ex Aberdeen now E.R.Well-Known Member I see Calaum Jahraldo-Martin and Jay Simpson scored today in the "O"'s 0-2 away win at Wycombe David Bowie #2049 John Ex Aberdeen now E.R., Yesterday at 7:30 PM I did mention it yesterday on the Transfer thread.
Stop been **** eh. 21 goals says he is a striker. He may not be a top level PL striker but he's still a striker. Why is this hard for you to understand.
He's currently by far the highest scoring striker in English league football. From now on I'm deleting all your posts that include misspelt swear words.
Sorry, I tend to get carried away at times. Apologies to anyone I have offended. I am glad the bloke is enjoying his football at a level he is comfortable with but 1 from 21 in Thailand wasn't impressive. Sagbo has scored 10 from 13 so he too appears to have found his level. Whilst on about ex-Hull City players Robert Koren's contract with Melbourne City has come to an ignominious end with his contract being terminated by mutual agreement. He has suffered from injuries for some time but on resuming I thought he did all right but he didn't get on with the new 'coach' (Manager) so he had to go. At 35 this could be the end of his career but ex Hull City player Michael Bridges, after terminating his contract with Australian A League Newcastle Jets last year is now playing with a team called Lambton Jaffa's (seriously) in the New South Wales Country Premier league at the age of 37 (has scored 2 from 18 but i believe he plays a more midfield role these days).
Bridges is back in the UK (for a brief spell, I think I heard him say) and seeking a coaching role. He has been doing pundit work on the local version of Look North.
Was he having a go at Bruce? I had read his post as praise of the loan move, so if he's trying to bash Brucey he's being way too subtle for me.
Yes, he's got all his Badges so he is qualified. Surprised he didn't get a go here but maybe he wasn't interested. There are some lucrative Coaching (Manager) Positions in Asia but it's a cut-throat world there.
Politics is something, like Religion and Sex I try to give a wide berth to on Football Forums.. Oddly enough there are many other football club forums (on Not606) who allow this though.
The no politics/no religion rule is one agreed by the posters on this board when we all moved here, it's not a site rule, the porn/nudity rule is a site one.
Mr Blackadder, as the perceptive Tuckin realised, the post was in praise of a certain wise old manager rather than criticism. Do you still put pencils up each nostril?
