Borini on way out? Several suitors

He hasn't exactly done a lot to improve us has he?

 

One big problem we have is that our wide players don't effect the game. If we can move him on and bring someone in who can beat his man or has excellent delivery I'd be happy.

 

Looks like Borini is wasted with you, as much as he was at the Scousers...........

 

Pardon my ignorance. I thought there was some sort of rule about a player moving twice in a season to another PL team? Am I wrong?

BFA thanks for pointing the Cest thing out - I think C got a lot of criticism for making some unpopular points - but all about opinions. Borini needs more game time to get game confidence and match sharpness imo
But we need players ready for our relegation battle now - no passengers - not merntioning my views on JR .....***!!.He needs game time at a lower level

 

Haven't seen the game yet but it sounds like Fabio helped get us a point with an assist so keep 'em coming.

Yeah. He wasn't registered for LFC as far as I know so there's no problem. If we'd signed him after he'd been registered with them, we'd be stuck with him.

I seem to remember him open with a free run at goal late in the second half screaming and waving for it. Never got the ball, Lens didn't even look up, just played a through ball out of play.

In fact Most of Borini's chances he's made for himself. That's our problem, nobody high up the pitch with composure on the ball and an eye for a pass. If borini is given a hat full of chances and consistently misses then fair dos, but he's not getting chances, in fact nobody is. We don't create many chances. 3rd worst in the league. That's the problem. We've got goal scorers.

Chance Created=18th
Goals Scored= 11th

We need to be questioning everything behind that front 3, not what's in it imo.

 

BFA - that's it summed up we do not create chances - a few passes before we lose it - no running with the ball to cause opposition problems yesterday until DW came on - so frustrating when we have a proven goalscorer in Defoe

 

I like Borini like, he's struggled for form but so has the whole side and he's one of the better players.

If he was to go, I'd want to see who was coming in to improve us beyond his ability first, most likely a 47 year old left back for 50p.

 

Not too sure. I believe they can buy him but would just be unable to register him so couldn't play him.
