I will Seriously though, I hope you win (or at least draw) tomorrow, I couldn't stand the Arsenal board if they win the league
We scored 3 but the ref said our boring football didn't deserve the points so awarded the game to Southampton 0 - 1
Only saw the last half hour, the first time I've missed a minute either live or armchair all season (we had a homework crisis) and it was awful. When we finally got in front of the game both myself and the boy called the Austin winner. No complaints. The in laws are all Saints so I'll have to listen to their chatter for months! Fear not though, it's all a process and LVG will get us to the promised land.
The homework was supposed to take an hour after rugby but it went on forever, in fact it's still not done. After cricket and guitar tomorrow we'll get back into it in the hope that it will be done before the Gooner v Chav game. When I was his age my homework took ten minutes as no one was interested!
Wouldn't say that was a similarly successful season tbh - you went from winning with a record points total and also the LC to only winning the league the following season with worse performances in Europe as well IIRC. I'm talking about title (or major trophy) winning sides that actually go on and strengthen themselves the following season. City are the archetype of failing to do this - winning the title one season, **** all the next.
Blind's 13th minute punt from 40 yards was your only shot on target all game That doesn't work against teams that aren't Liverpool (or apparently Norwich)
I think it is getting worse. The players have shown ZERO fkn passion for the club and LVG can't get off his fricken sit to motivate sht! I just hope they don't hand the reins over to Ryan Giggs. At least I hope to heavens that we don't use Giggs as long term manager.
Really not sure about Giggs, the romance of it all makes me want it to happen and be a great success, the last 3 years makes me want some one proven and current at the top level.
