For long this Liverpool team has lacked pace. In particular out-wide and up-front.

Now we see that King Kenny is a fan of pace players (ignoring Downing) and we are now playing at a high tempo and at a fast pace. Yet it seems that Dirk Kuyt and Andy Carroll are/will be constantly picked despite their lack of pace.

We see with Barcelona that, to be champions of the world, you need a team full of pace. And our decline over the years has been due to the removal of quicker players like Cisse, Bellamy and Mascherano and with them being replaced by Poulsen, Maxi and even Meireles (a very overrated player).

We seem to be willing to pay 35 million for Carroll yet not willing to pay a similar amount to a by far superior player in Aguero. Also Mata would be a better alternative on the wing to Kuyt, presuming that Downing will also be on the wing.

Also our centre-halfs lack pace meaning that we are constantly caught out by quicker, more athletic player, which lastr season cost us dearly.

Therefore, faster Centre-halfs like Sakho, Kjaer and Richards need to be bought (not all of them of course) in order to prevent this problem from occurring again. Soto and Carra are too old, Wilson inexperienced, Agger permanently on the treatment table and Skrtel................................well Skrtel is just awful in general.

Give Carroll a chance for ****s sake, even if he is worth £10m tops.

What you miss in Liverpool is the technical pace and the passing- Jurgen Klinsmann. Didn't realize he created a not606 account.

Who was the highest scoring English player in the Premier League last year? Carroll and he scored most of them by Christmas in a newly promoted team, who only won 3 games after he was sold (2 of them against a team who ended up getting relegated).

He's being a bit dramatic but he is sort of right, Liverpool do lack pace across the team.

    No this isn't Schofield.
This is the same guy that was on BBC606 that used to go on and on about pace.I think he used to annoy people too about the ASA(The Agger Skrtel axis)

I have already said it isn't me.

I have no idea whether that guy is a WUM or not, but if he is or isn't doesn't change the validity of his assertion.

Arsenal Fans believed in their Manager, In Arsene We Trust and all that, when the whole world could see that their Squad was lacking physical and mental strength and that Wenger seemed to have a blond spot, they were dismissed as WUMs

Well they weren't, they were just pointing out a bleeding obvious omission in the make up of Arsenal's Squad.

And now every Arsenal Fan has opened their mind to the reality, I thought Liverpool Fans were a bit more savvy about Football.

None so blind as those who refuse to see.

    Schofield.
Us Liverpool fans know our side has flaws, however we also know the rest of the top 6 also have flaws some more than others ie Spurs who have no attack, one good centre back and a rubbish keeper and a clueless manager.
Arsenal need to grow a pair. For all their flair and style, the fold quicker than a bad poker player.
Chelsea are relatively over the hill.
Man United haven't got a central midfield.
    City need a manager.
