OLOF. Because if our financial situation was different, these lads would be playing for Leeds in the top division and we'd be up in the top half. All of our recent owners should hang their ****ing heads in shame for the way they've run us over the past decade. If you can't get the biggest club, bar none, in the championship promoted then as an owner you're a prize ****.
I want them to reach the top of their profession with Leeds United, if they don't want to fight and rather do it with someone else with more money, ****'em
But what's an acceptable time to give to trying to get Leeds promoted. You surely can't expect any player to spend their entire career muddling about in the middle of the championship. I think three or four seasons is acceptable
Eire (or Ell), for me it's not about time but belief we're going to do it. I honestly think some of them, not all, would have stayed if they thought we were close to promotion, specially the players that came through together.
That's a hard one to answer, there's a lot of different factors why they stay or go, but most players are greedy bastards and have little affinity for the clubs they play for. I'm a Leeds fan, I would have given anything to play for my club , but then again, I'm speaking from the heart as a Leeds fan, I can't be proud to see any ex Leeds players doing well for anyone else, ****'em
Fair comment but at least we know we're producing top quality. Byram comfortable in debut and Delphi not out of place either. Shows were not far off. Just need to get eleven of similar quality at same time for a couple of seasons to challenge instead of them arriving in twos or threes
Look mate, the difference in Elland and me is he drives around in a flash Merc, with pockets stuffed with wads of cash while I have to make do with a bloody van and a handful of euros
You WERE producing top quality youngsters - under the influence of Neil Redfern and Lucy Ward and bought to the club via a very good scouting and recruiting network. Alas, Redfern and Ward were sacked, along with the scouts and people that organised your academy. Any players you get in the fututre that are good enough for the top level will be sold as Leeds will not get there while Cellino is running the show
We had a scouting network? Well they kept it a secret from Brian McDermott, didn't they? He set up a new scouting network when he arrived because we didn't have one! I wasn't aware that we sacked the scouting network along with Redders & Ward. Would have expected it to be splashed all over the papers. Interestingly, Glory thought the same. Got a link, or is it another fabrication by either or both of you?
Sacked 40 staff (inc Secretary) then had to hire a consultant to help him make signings before hiring Salerno http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...mo-Cellino-sacks-440-staff-and-closes-academy For a self confessed Mansa member, you don't appear to know very much Next time look for your own links
