You aren't down yet mate. Far too many games left and you have your biannual 3 points off us to claim too!
How though? He owns the club and were not saleable at the moment really are we? I may not necessarily disagree with you but I can't see how we can get rid of the owner?
The damage has been done imo. All we can do now is pick up the pieces at the end of the season, whatever division we are preparing for.
27th richest club in the world ! that says something. And having a frigging concert in the summer in OUR stadium is piss taking by Short. Why the hell did Quinn put him in charge. Every manager a disaster, and after Rodwell camd on instead of Ndoy or whatever they call him was brought on and the lazy gets would not put the ball into the penalty area with seconds left, now finishes me with this club after 34 years this is my last as a season card holder. Bournemouth looked like Barcelona in the first half, and we missed out on Austin. Welcome to the championship.
WUM meltdown you mean, although I don't think it's mentally possible for Monty to meltdown any further
We're where we are now because of mismanagement over the last 5 or so years, Ellis and Byrne have got to be seen as a big part of that along with managers, directors of football and the playing staff going through the motions far too often. I don't see any benefit of them two ****ing off now to be honest damage is done, unless there is a better potential owner waiting in the wings it's better the devil you know.
The board are a soft target and blaming them for our plight does not add up. They bring in managers who save us, they are given contracts to carry on the work and have just not been up to improving us. Change managers and the situation becomes repeated, not the board's fault but who they appointed. My biggest disappointment is becoming DA who has a long pedigree and huge contacts throughout European football yet the players he brought in were midfielders whilst letting good full backs go. Our poor start to the season when we shipped seven goals in our two first games was down to his tactics and selection. At least he walked and we have picked up points since. Still the boards fault for appointing the managers and giving them money for players of the manager's choice?
25th Monty. To those thinking we will just bounce back up, our record against the 3 promoted teams is 3 defeats, 1 draw and 2 away games to play. Staying in the Championship will be hard and getting straight back up will be very very difficult. We seriously need to strengthen with a whole back 4 and 2 very good midfielders which means around £40 million. This of course will not happen. Our net spend since 2008 is £4.5 million per season. A loan, a geriatric goalie and a £0.75 million crock will not see us shooting up the table. We may still stay up but we are where we are because we are poor. On paper you would think we are stronger than Bournemouth in every position but on grass they showed us how a team should play.
A Bournemouth team that has been together for about three years and kinow each others game inside out. We showed them too much respect today.
We deffo need a change at board room level but who's gonna buy? Knowing our luck we'd end up with some ****er like Vinnie Tan.
