DUCK. My god, I thought that point was going to make contact. How lucky it went clean over your head.
I'd rather play/watch table tennis. In fact on friday I watched/played it for almost 4 hours in town without getting too bored.
No just bored, trying to drag out some harmless banter on a lazy sunday evening. Wheres the Leicester fans!
My lads brilliant at whiff-waff. He rarely ever loses a game, but once on holiday after he'd beaten everyone all week, he was challenged to a game by this Serbian lad who was about twenty. He was beaten 21-2. He was completely gutted, until he found out the kid had won silver at the last Olympics.
maybe Mr Pearson is planning a move to a more suitable arena at the Costello playing fields. That way the 50% of their regular attendance who are under 18 passholders paying tuppence ha'penny for a season will be able to go over to Peter Pan Park when they get bored with the matches. At the moment, all these kids who have obviously been forced to wear their shirts by Dad and attend the matches when they arent really bothered are just an annoyance to the 4000 proper fans
Every town and city in England got 'given' a sport for London2012... Hull was given table tennis. The ping pong tables will be in Hull till next year. Not just in the centre, they're scattered all over the city.
Every City is also responsible for supporting one of the competing nations. We've got the French and are resiting the Larkin memorials as a mark of the respect we hold them in.
The real point re this footy/rugby lark has been missed. When we where in the prem( footballs top division) how many could we of got in if the ground held 40K. Hull FC are in the top Division yet fail to attract anymore than the steady 12K. With Rovers 8K even put together would be a good 10K behind Citys average should there of been more seats.
Bet Adam was gutted yesterday he had just taken the club over and put some new life into hull fc he asked them to turn up and show him support and to get behind the team.
