8 points off the Champions League places, what are the Glazers waiting for? Pull the trigger. I have enough of this. BOOOOOO!!!
Complete and utter crap. It isn't difficult - just look at Koeman - what he did there was called managing ..............a while ago he identified a shortcoming in his squad, he bought the exact player that he needed (and played him in the correct position) and then used mystical things called tactics to bring on the player at the right time
All we have to do is wait for Leicester to drop off. The press and pundits say they will so it's bound to happen, right?
LVG is totally unsuited for a club like United and the premiership. His over cautious game not only does not suit United after Fergie but also does not even bring any results when teams come to OT and counterattack. His dull football will put lots of United fans off and I am sure it will eventually hit the GGs and the club in their finances. The man must resign or be sacked. The players clearly do not play their best under him.
we're right behind you van gaal! you're doing a fine job once again you manage to out possess (to death) the opposition with 56% of the ball, #1 in the league for possession.
you guys will be waiting a long time for leicester to 'drop off', they've been consistently good for almost a calender year now...... and as for spurs, they're a much better side than both of us atm...that's just the reality of it.
whole situation is ridiculous ... since last year, we gone backward ...yet board still not sacking this muppet .. we have been shouting for him to be sacked since October.. fans are bored with the team they are supporting shouting them to attack ..where did that happened on weekly basis .. did we had any shot on goal today? i can't remember .. how many matches this happened?!! how pathetic we become ? at least Chelsea when played ugly they got points bcz they had the balance right.. if Board don't sack him by tomorrow, things will only gonna go worst in many levels. if Sir Alex want to be a caretaker, that will be perfect, but please don't let be Pep, I used to wish Jose manage us but after watching how painful is to be boring, I don't want him either .. anyway I just want now to see the back of this muppet by tommorow
I know this. I'm just increasingly baffled by why people are lazily predicting Leicester will simply drop off. What are they watching?
I think he should go no matter what the results. We were abysmal against the RS with only one shot on goal. I only didn't say anything at the time because it was a win against the RS. When a match at OT sends you to sleep or as bad as a visit to the dentist, then enough is enough. Woodward must be able to see that surely. How is it possible that we have only 1 shot on target throughout a whole match against Southampton ? And I am more ****ed off by the way we played rather than the result. A defeat from constant attacking and a sucker punch would have been more acceptable.
I'm not a fan of sacking the manager,it's a sad sign of failure on all parts. The man is lost though. Whatever it is he's trying doesn't work and it doesn't fit with the club. Everything he does has an air of wild stab in the dark to it. He and the club need to put everyone out of their misery and part company. If it means we end up with Mourinho then so be it, it can't be worse. It's not possible to be worse, surely?
Second consecutive away win for the might Saints at Old Traffold. Listening to the local radio this afternoon, Dave Merrington was full of scorn for LVG and surmised that Sir Alex would not be pleased with the kind of football Utd now turn out. He commented that he wouldn't be prepared to pay money for the dour style of football the Reds now produce. It is rather ironic that some Utd fans mock Saints as a Liverpool feeder club - especially as Utd have signed the excellent Shaw and Schneiderlin from us. I think Saints have a very good coach and a squad mentality where the team is better than any individual. This is exactly what Utd need now and what they had when Sir Alex was in charge. For a neutral point of view, it is brilliant that it is teams like Leicester and Spurs who are doing a lot of the EPL this season and it is a welcome surprise. However, the basis of the Utd squad is exceptional but you seem to be poorly coached. Merrington was correct about Ferguson's approach which was an aggressive, thrusting style of football that no one could live with and where a lead could still be reversed as no game seemed to be accepted as being lost until the final whistle had blown. Tonking Utd at The Dell back in the 1990's was a real event and actually meant something because the teams of the 1990's and 2000's were frequently the best ever produced in English football. Two poor seasons is probably not to be unexpected given the amount of success Utd have enjoyed even if the problem has been exacerbated by managers who have not fitted the bill. I really believe that this will all be reversed next season. LVG won't be managing the club ( I will be surprised if he is still there by the end of the season) but the team has enough depth and quality to ensure that a place in the top two is quickly cemented. I cannot see Utd declining quite like Liverpool where, despite a few "false dawns," that team will never establish itself at the same level of Utd / City / Chelsea / Arsenal. It is good to savour coming away with the three points yet I wonder if this reverse will actually work to your advantage with Mourinho waiting in the wings?
