I hope we gain a big confidence boost for that. Even though we were not great we kept fighting till the end, scored 5 goals and won a very difficult game. We could have been crushed today, going 3-1 down just after half time. But we won.

Our defensive is **** but we scored 5 goals.

 

American commentator just summed it up with "the defending on show in that game should have had a parental control sticker on it"

We must invest in our defense this summer. A GK, 2 CB's and a DM, all of real quality and styled to compliment our team and playing style.

We also need to get Flanagan and Smith involved in squad rotation more to avoid Clyne and Moreno burning out again,

Loved the celebration at the end with Lallana and Klopp - looks like a bro-mance going on there.

Lallana often gets ripped to shreds but today just showed how important he is for us. His experience etc. is vital and his all round game is generally very good. Really pleased for the lad.

Firmino looking like a player now too.


A game finishing like that will boost the lads confidence for sure. Very enjoyable match, although patchy.

To let in four goals against a team like Norwich is a ****ing disgrace. To gain 3 points against a team like Norwich is not.

 

Defence was shocking.

But credit to Lallana - I joked that we needed goals but he got an assist (brilliant pass) and the winning goal. Milner played slightly better.

Hendo and Can were really poor and Lucas is dross.

Firmino stepped up again - wonder what the Old Boys Club will say now. Hopefully they'll stop sucking Benteke off and realise we have a quality player up front who is managing to score goals with the same creative players behind him.

The funny thing it isn't the first time its happened to Norwich fans, I remember they cheered really loudly and started dishing out abuse when Suarez misjudged a 1v1 lob attempt and it went over the bar then from the resulting goal kick the keeper passed it to Turner who lost the ball to Suarez and he scored.

They really haven't learned their lesson
