Even if Koeman wants the Chelsea job (and why wouldn't he to be honest), can you honestly see him conducting the move in the press. Sounds like normal reinterpretation of Ronald being humorous. The Mirror seeks headlines when they have little actual news to report.
It could just mean that Ronald is putting pressure on to the board about matching his ambition. I can't honestly see RK being this silly especially as it lacks respects of the team.
One blogger says Saints should fire Koeman for supposed comments.....I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Yes, sacking Koeman would be really smart...so we probably end up paying compo instead of receiving it and losing a good manager into the bargain. Anyway, we shouldn't be giving credence to a silly rumour.....hard though that is.
They hate us ... always posting negative Saints articles, it's unreal. After the Arsenal match, they said we were far too obsessed with what the newspapers said about us, because our program said that "the papers wrote us off as relegation fodder ... we didn't, we kept moving forward."
The Star are reporting that Manure want Ryan...It's funny how these articles suddenly appear on the eve of a match against a big club.
Waiting for my plane so bored as. But Utd have been looking at Bertrand for a while now. My take on Koeman? Yet again being too honest with the media.
As a saints supporter, it's rare you're allowed to enjoy the future for long. After two great wins, a terrific signing in Austin, Ron and the club being crystal clear that no first teamers will be sold this month. I was looking forward to an enjoyable end to the season. Now this is going to be a huge cloud over the club, in much the same way as Poch's final few months in charge. I hope Ron nips this in the bud at the first opportunity
If he really said it in the manner in which it is being reported then, yes. But translations, tone of voice, the look on his face etc...........Probably nothing. However, it always amuses me that "I want to manage at the highest level" means go to a 'bigger' club not try and get your current club up to that level.
This is exactly my issue with the way a,bit ion is defined in sport. When I played Sunday League, it was my ambition to win a cup and keep going up the league with my team. It took 15 years before I won a cup! I felt more proud of that than I would have had I jumped ship to a "better" team.
I think regardless of how it was said.still disrespectful.he knows the the media would pick up on it.just before a big game aswell
http://www.538.nl/programma/16/ever...en-chelsea?utm_intern_content=sponsored-topic Interview. All in dutch so.... Sounds like he said it as a joke. But still stupid.
